About this property

Lovely gite in a peaceful area near the coast, in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel

Le Mélèze" ( 81 m²) sleeps 6 people. If required, it is possible to add a sofa for two extra people. Le Mélèze is located in the annex of the Manoir du Crux, in the middle of a large enclosed garden. Surrounded by fields and old trees, it offers a magnificent view of the Normandy bocage!
It's an ideal place to spend a relaxing break with family or friends. Enjoy activities such as pétanque and volleyball. A separate annex, the former ‘De Crux’ chapel, serves as a games room with table tennis and table football (shared with the Manoir).
The gîte contains an information booklet with addresses, telephone numbers and our favourites
Kayaks and bicycles, including electric bikes, can be hired nearby. So you can discover the bay of Mont Saint Michel. Bikes can be delivered if required. It is possible to have a wellness massage at home, but like the bikes, it is important to book in advance.
If you need it, the Manoir for 9 people (advert no. 2066417 .) can be booked. The two gîtes are separate, i.e. they do not face each other, have a separate entrance, a separate terrace and a green and leisure area (barbecue, etc.) with garden furniture.
Thanks to the motorway and the 4-lane highway towards Granville, this holiday home offers you quick access to the most famous sights of Mont Saint Michel, Norman sandy beaches, Saint Malo in Brittany and much more.
The holiday home ‘Le Mélèze’ is characterised by its simplicity and offers you all the comfort you need.
On the ground floor:
an equipped kitchenette: Gas hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge + freezer, household appliances, coffee machine, blender, raclette machine, etc.

We spent a wonderful week here. The location is really peaceful and the children loved the garden and games room. It is ideally located to visit sights in the area; Mont St Michel, St Malo, the d-day beaches and Bayeux were all within easy reach. We spent a great day at Carolles beach and recommend a visit into Avranches too. The house had everything we needed for a family holiday and we would definitely return.

Wonderful base for exploring Normandy

We had a great stay and fantastic weather. Katia, the owner, was really welcoming and really made us feel at home. The property is a bit quirky but clean and well-equipped with plenty of space outside for relaxing, plus a table tennis room and a covered BBQ area. It's an ideal base for exploring the Normandy sights or riding bikes in the quiet lanes.

Lovely gite

Gite is more modern than the pictures suggest. Nicely done. We enjoyed the games room. Kitchen was fine (plenty of pans). Lovely area - Carolles beach was just perfect for us.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig und idyllisch, man kann super abschalten. In der Ferne sieht man sogar den Mont St. Michel. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Besonders gut hat uns der Spielraum mit der Tischtennis Platte gefallen.

Séjour paisible dans un bel écrin de verdure

Charmant logement, dans un beau jardin, aux arbres centenaires magnifiques! Les enfants ont apprécié l'espace et les jeux mis à leur disposition. Les parents ont apprécié le calme et le chant des oiseaux. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au Mélèze !

IDEAL CONFORTABLE CHARMANT

Nous avons réservé ce gite pour accueillir des commerciaux pour notre entreprise à Brécey. Nous le reprendrons à l'occasion. Très facile d'accès A84, les chambres sont très confortable et l'espace séjour très spacieux. Lieu très charmant et au calme. Nous recommandons vivement.

T'es beau gîte, petit bémol sur les équipements

Le gîte est très beau, vraiment au calme et bénéficie de magnifiques extérieurs : terrain de pétanque, jardin ombragé, terrasse a l'abri avec barbecue. L'emplacement est assez idéal pour des visites a la fois en Bretagne et en Normandie. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et acceptent les chiens. Toutefois, gros bémol sur les équipements. Tout est fait de récupération, le canapé n'a plus les cousins de dos, on est assis directement contre le montant , très inconfortable. La literie : une catastrophe, si vous avez mal au dos, passez votre chemin... Les robinets et vasques de la salle de bain sont cassés ou non fixées. Il manque pas mal d'ustensiles de cuisine, un peu juste pour 4 ou 5 personnes prennent 15 jours : pas d'épluchure légume, rien pour rappeler ou cuire a la vapeur ou a la Cocotte , un frigo minuscule et qui congèle tous les aliments qui touchent le fond. Rien ou très peu pour faire le ménage, un aspirateur de poupée avec un fil de 1,5m, pas d'éponges. Difficile de rendre le logements propre après 15 jours à 4 personnes et 2 chiens. Un peu plus d'équipements et le gîte sera fantastique !!! Toutefois

tirepied is voor ons geen aanrader

het verblijf was naar onze mening vrij oud en goedkoop ingericht . naargelang de prijs hadden we wat meer en betere kwaliteit verwacht . In de keuken was er weinig materiaal om deftig te kunnen koken maar dat hang misschien van persoon tot persoon . sommige gaan mischien vaker uit eten terwijl wij genieten van het koken ter plaatse . het grootste gebrek was de ontvangst van Wiffi die werkte super traag of zelfs niet en in deze tijden wordt er heel wat opgezocht via het netwerk alsook eventuele aankopen voor kaarten van uitstappen . en onze twee kleinkinderen van 13 en 15 is een wiffi toch geen luxe en mag deze best verbeterd worden . we hebben misschien het nadeel gehad dat het weer wat minder was en we de tv wel eens gebruikt , deze moesten we dan via onze gsm verstreken met wiffi om te kunnen kijken . het verblijf had ook krakende vloeren en trap wat niet altijd aangenaam was als er snachts iemand naar toilet of dergelijke moest . aangezien de die week amper 17 a 20graden was konden we savonds geen verwarming aanzetten . het werden af en toe avonden met extra trui of jas als we stilzaten . om eerlijk te zijn straalde de online site van het verblijf meer dan het eigenlijk was in werkelijkheid . voor ons geen aanrader om dit aan te raden aan vrienden of dergelijke . maar over het algemeen hebben we er wel mooie uitstappen gedaan en mooie dingen gezien in de omgeving . alvast bedankt voor jullie begrip . Séjour musical

The Silver Roosters est un groupe de musique amateur qui, chaque année, organise une résidence d'été. L'objectif est de rassembler l'ensemble du groupe sur une semaine en famille loin des préoccupations. Le gîte du Mélèze, avec sa situation géographique idéale (calme et retirée), nous a permis de nous ressourcer et de partager nos inspirations musicales du moment. En effet nous avons eu l'agréable surprise de trouver au sein du gîte, une ancienne chapelle réhabilitée en salle de jeu et, pour l'occasion, en salle de répétition à l'acoustique parfaite. Joindre l'utile à l'agréable que demander de plus. Ajouté à cela l'accueil de la propriétaire du lieu qui a été tout au long du séjour à la hauteur de nos attentes. Objectif atteint en ce qui nous concerne.

die Unterkunft ist auch gut geeignet für mehrere Personen, jedoch nicht für Menschen mit Geh-Handicap. Ruhige Lage, schöne Aussicht, ein erholsamer Urlaub auch mit dem Fahrradr ist gut möglich.

Ein absoluter Traumurlaub

Der Urlaub war ein absoluter Traum! Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus in perfekter Lage. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und das Haus im hervorragenden Zustand. Alles sauber, großzügig und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet (Küche....). Der Garten ist eine Oase und auch die Kinder hatten wahnsinnig viel Spaß und Spielmöglichkeiten. Wir können dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen und geben volle Punktzahl! Ganz liebe Vermieter! Keine negativen Erlebnisse! Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub!

séjour dépaysant

Le manoir de Crux nous a offert un vrai changement, pour une semaine de vacances hors du temps. L'intérieur du manoir nous projette dans une autre époque avec tout le confort de la nôtre. La cuisine et les salles de bains sont fonctionnelles. La salle commune est spacieuse et agréable, idéale pour les rythmes différents des membres d'une grande famille. Le babyfoot et la table de ping-pong permettent des moments conviviaux, le four à pain des découvertes gastronomiques. Les extérieurs du manoir sont magnifiques : début juillet la floraison était belle, le jardin très bien entretenu et le calme alentour est reposant. Un endroit magique pour se retrouver en famille, avec des plages assez proches et idéales pour les enfants (rochers pour la découverte de la faune marine à marée basse et piscine d'eau de mer) et la proximité d'un grand centre commercial pour ne manquer de rien pendant le séjour.
