10-person gîte in the bay of Mont Saint Michel

With family or friends, we offer a cottage for 10 people in the bay of Mont Saint Michel, in Saint Martin des Champs (50300) near Avranches.
The cottage is in the countryside, in a quiet village.
Completely renovated in 2018, we have brought together 2 houses in 1 alone to offer you a 145 m2 gîte with:
-on the ground floor of a living room of 45m2 including an equipped kitchen area and a dining area, TV lounge, WC
-on the 1st floor: 2 double bedrooms with 140 cm bed, 1 bedroom with 2 x 90 cm beds, 1 bedroom with 1 bed 90, 2 bathrooms with double sink; 2 toilets; a relaxation remedy; a room with table football; a TV lounge
- on the 2nd floor (attic): 1 double bedroom with 140 bed; 1 bedroom bed 90.

Garage: washing machine, dryer, sink, ping-pong table
Enclosed garden, garden shed with picnic table, barbecue, bowling green, terrace, garden furniture, private parking.

Wonderful vacation spot with an excellent view! Very easy check in process and well maintained unit. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of closet and drawers. Wonderful trip to Normandie

Laurence is a very friendly and helpful host with nice recommendations for local events and destinations. Avranches, Mont St. Michel, St. Malo and other famous destinations are nearby and the landscape around the house is beautiful. We used the boule lane, the fireplace for a barbecue and the peaceful terrace a lot. Absolutely recommended.

Family holiday

Our family had an excellent holiday at the house. The owner met us and showed us around. Her rhubarb tart she made us was amazing. She gave us information of a locak festival which we really enjoyed. The house was full of extras from games to kitchen equipment and some ingredients. It is situated near supermarkets you could drive or bike to. We found lovely beaches 40 mins away. We enjoyed a walk and bike rides around the area.

Easter break in Avranches

We stayed in Laurence's lovely gite as a family of 4 with our friends so there were 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We found the place was extremely well equipped and really spacious, so much so that each of the teenagers were able to have their own bedrooms and their own lounge area with a TV to watch and game on.We made good use of the table tennis table in the garage and barbecued in the garden and sat round the lovely big table for meals and games most evenings.The gite is really well located and we had days out in Mont St Michel, Mortains (waterfall walk), Fougeres (castle), Granville (beach), Pontnorson, as well as a day in Avranches. It feels really rural but there are 6 or 7 supermarkets within about 5 minutes in the car.Our only slight disappointment was that the fire/log burner wasn't in use as this was one of the reasons why we chose this gite knowing the weather might not be great as we were visiting at Easter, so perhaps the property details should be updated to indicate this. The gite was still very cosy as there are wall heaters throughout which work well.Overall we would highly recommend Laurence's gite and would certainly return if looking for a gite for 8-10 people in the area in the future.

Lieu propice à la détente avec tout ce qu'il faut (équipement, taille des chambres, lieu de vie et de détente bien agencés). Bien placé pour visiter la région et se rendre au Mont Saint Michel. Un accueil au top avec la surprise d'une tarte normance faite maison à l'arrivée c'est encore mieux! Merci à Laurence pour la confiance et les échanges durant la période de réservation. Nous recommandons cet endroit si vous souhaitez être tranquille et profiter du temps qui passe à la campagne normande.

Nous avons passé 15 jours très agréables et bien occupés ! Le gîte est situé dans un endroit calme et proche de lieux touristiques.Le Mont Saint Michel et des plages pour se baigner ne sont pas loin. De même que de nombreux lieux charger d'histoire sont à proximité. Châteaux, plages du débarquement, musées, maison de Christian DIOR à Granville (attention, réserver 2 à 4 jours à l'avance si vous ne voulez pas faire la queue plus d'1 heure. Seules 50 personnes peuvent être dans la maison en même temps). Le jardin de la maison de Christian DIOR est devenu un parc public. Si vous n'êtes pas amateur de haute couture, faites quand même un détour par le jardin, il est magnifique. Les gourmands apprécierons la visite de la boutique de gâteau Saint-Michel avec des conditionnements de gâteaux hors normes...Pour les amoureux des chevaux, des promenades sur les plages avec vu sur le Mont Saint Michel sont possibles. Nous avons aussi pu aussi assister à des courses à l'Hippodrome des Grèves. C'était une grande première.Quant au gîte, nous avons pu profiter des extérieurs autant pour manger que se détendre : pétanque, jeu de balle... Et en cas de pluie, table de ping-pong et baby foot sont à disposition.C'est une adresse que nous vous conseillons. Toutes les pièces sont lumineuses et agréables. Le gîte est bien équipé avec lave vaisselle, congélateur, 2 frigos, lave linge et sèche linge. Les propriétaires habitent en face du gîte en cas de besoin, mais sont très discrets et gentils.

Séjour entre amis dans la baie du Mont Saint Michel

Groupe de 9 personnes. Tout le monde a trouvé sa place. Des espaces de vie pour tous les moments de la journée, en intérieur et en extérieur.Tout le nécessaire pour un groupe : 2ème frigo, laverie, lave-vaisselle. Question loisirs, baby-foot et ping-pong .Le tout très propre.Et l’accueil est sympathique.Merci pour la tarte à la rhubarbe du jardin.Convient également très bien pour un séjour avec des enfants.
