Between Avignon and Saint Rémy de Provence, "La Luciole" is a pretty, modern, single-storey villa, classified as a "meublé de tourisme" by the "Gîte de France" label. It is located in the commune of Cabannes in a quiet environment, a 5-minute walk from the village and its shops.

This recent (2019) 105 m2 house is fully air-conditioned.

The villa offers every comfort for a relaxing stay with family or friends. The accommodation is not suitable for young children (swimming pool with alarm but no barriers...no possibility of adding cots in the bedrooms).

Rental includes electricity up to 200 kw/week (normal costs). Beyond that, consumption will be billed (meter reading on arrival and departure).

Cabannes is a typical southern village in the Bouches-du-Rhône region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, on the border of the Vaucluse département, in the heart of the Alpilles. This Provencal town is close to some of Provence's most beautiful tourist sites, which you can discover during your stay (Saint Rémy, Les Baux, Les Ocres de Provence, Gordes, l'isle sur la Sorgue, Mont Ventoux, the Lubéron, the Pont du Gard, les Saintes Maries de la mer, Aix en Provence, Marseille...). The commune offers a farmers' market every Tuesday morning, and an organic market on Saturday mornings. Concerts are organized in June for the Fête de la Musique, and in early July for the Nuit du Blues concerts! The Fête de la Madeleine is celebrated every year at the end of July, with festive meals, a bodega, a Provencal parade, a funfair, fireworks, pétanque tournaments and various activities around the Lac de Cabannes At the end of September, it's time for the Fête de la St Michel, with its festival of abrivado and bandido In summer, this type of funfair is organized in all the surrounding villages A few kilometers away, the famous city of Avignon with its theater festival.
