Casa Catinca Cullera - the House Behind the Dune

Our 'Casa Catinca Cullera' is a family owned holiday house on Spain's famous 'Costa del Azahar', the 'Coast of Orange Blossoms' on the Gulf of Valencia.
Spread out over two floors are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living/dining room, and one den as well as two balconies with a view of the sea and mountains, two terraces, a blooming back- and frontyard plus many other amenities. Just a few steps away you'll find a well-kept sandy beach to which the house has its own, private access.

Details:
The ground floor has - besides a bathroom with shower and washing machine - two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and one with two moveable single beds) as well as a cool lounge which can be opened towards the frontyard to let the sea breeze through. On the upper floor is a second bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, a living/dining room with comfy chairs, a balcony and a view of the sea, a third bedroom with a king-size bed and a den with a couch (extendable) plus TV.

A wonderful visit and property

This was a great, carefree space and vacation. Everything was well-taken care of, and I appreciated the owner's detailed descriptions. My one thing to note is that you MUST be prepared to deal with mosquitoes. I wish more fans were provided, as my kids were eaten alive by bugs. Some of the rooms have fans, but ventilation/portable ventilation options would be greatly beneficial.

Sehr schönes Haus, alles wie beschrieben und die Lage ist einfach der Wahnsinn. Näher zum Meer geht nicht. 4 große + 1 kleine Terrasse vorhanden, so kann man immer die Sonne genießen. Viele Alltags Utensilien, wie Küchenrolle,WC Papier, Waschmittel, Öle,Weine etc. vorhanden, was den ersten Einkauf kleiner ausfallen lässt 😉 Matratzen super. Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus und wir würden wieder buchen. Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war auch super. Vielen Dank

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus!! Perfekt geeignet um mit mehreren Personen Urlaub zu machen und trotzdem gibt es die Möglichkeit der Privatsphäre. Im Haus ist alles für einen Selbstversorgerurlaub vorhanden. Tolle Lage mit direktem Strandzugang. Sehr ruhiger Strandabschnitt. Nächstes Jahr definitv wieder!!!

Casa horrible y engañados

Buenos días , no recomendamos la vivienda ya que había una gran falta de higiene la casa llena de hormigas por todas las esquinas en la misma encimera al los segundos de dejar una rebanada de pan lleno de hormigas no hay espacio para ni dejar la compra un calor horroroso la barbacoa no se puedo hacer por que hay tanta vegetación que tienes riesgo de incendio , la ducha va mal . Abajo en la ducha estropeada . No lo recomiendo y después el propietario nos exige una fianza aparte de la página que nos fiamos y lo depositamos y no nos lo devuelve . Horroroso todo .No se puede cerrar la puerta de la cancela , la seguridad nula puede entrar el que quiera .

Belle maison sur la plage!

Très grande et bien équipée, cette maison les pieds dans l'eau était comme nous l'espérions. Dans un grand jardin méditerranéen et une cour pour la voiture. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette zone résidentielle au calme contrairement à l'autre partie de Cullera. Adresse que nous recommandons vivement !

Casa Catinca - Beautiful!

My wife and I just stayed for a week at Casa Catinca and it was wonderful. The house is right on the beach. Two minutes out the back door and we were in the ocean, which was beautifully clear and warm. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, there are no tourists to be seen, and there were mornings when we were completely alone on the beach. A cafe five minutes up the shoreline was perfect for coffee or a snack. The accommodations were excellent, the house has three bedrooms and two baths, everything you would need is already there. Plus, there's an outdoor kitchen on the front patio, and also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a swim. From the deck there's a view of the ocean! There are tables and chairs on the front patio, the back patio, and the front and back decks so you could sit in any direction and enjoy the view or the garden. Shops and supermarkets are minutes away by car, and there's a great Paella restaurant on the street, 3 minutes by walking. My wife and I had the greatest time staying here and will come back gladly next year. Marc and Oliver were great hosts, friendly and accommodating, and have made their house into a welcoming home. We appreciated that the most, I think. Anyone wishing a beautiful, relaxing time in Spain, Casa Catinca is a perfect getaway. My highest recommendation!

Wir haben dieses Jahr zum 4. Mal unseren Sommerurlaub dort verbracht und gleich wieder für das nächste Jahr reserviert. Das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt, eine Top-Ausstattung und eine wunderbare Lage direkt am Sandstrand. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und sehr herzlich. Fabulous Beach Vacation Property

My two 10 year old daughters and I LOVED this property. We stayed in the lower level apartment around the end of June and enjoyed open air living. The boardwalk to this incredible beach is literally right beside the house gates and there is an outdoor shower and clothes line in the property garden so you can easily clean up afterwards. At night, you catch the ocean breeze and are lulled to sleep; I slept on the hammock one night, perfectly safe. The garden is well maintained, with plenty of seating and tables for dining. There's also an outdoor kitchenette to prepare some meals and a washing machine in the bathroom. I could go on and on! Big thanks to Marc and Oliver for getting us into this property! -Teresa & twins

tolles Ferienhaus

Wir sind Wiederholungstäter, das sagt eigentlich alles. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und hat einen sehr persönlichen Charakter, so dass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Die Räume sind schön eingerichtet. Der gepflegte Garten gibt Gelegenheit, die Sonne als auch den Schatten in jeder Tageszeit nach Wunsch zu genießen. Für unseren kleinen Enkel neben dem Strand beste Gelegenheit zum Spielen, ohne dass man Ängste haben müsste, er läuft weg. Balkone nach beiden Seiten geben prima Gelegenheit, das Meer oder den rückwärtigen Blick auf Berge auf sich wirken zu lassen. Restaurants in guter Qualität befinden sich in der Nähe, die Kleinstadt Cullera oder der Supermarkt sind in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen. Mit dem Zug erreicht man schnell die schöne Stadt Valencia. Abseits des Trubels gelegen (was ja uns sehr angenehm ist), sollte man aber ein Auto zur Verfügung haben. Weiteres Highlight ist der direkt angrenzende saubere, flache weiße Sandstrand. Ein Paradies für Badeurlauber, Sandburgenbauer und buddelfreudige Kleinkinder. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist herzlich und freundschaftlich. Die Betreuung vor Ort ist sehr angenehm. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Aufenthalt. Mit lieben Grüßen Regina + Wolfgang

sono stato molto contento del mio soggiorno. I proprietari sono stati più che disponibili, precisi nella consegna delle chiavi. Ho trovato una casa stupenda e pulita. Sono stato in perfetta tranquillità, nella casa non mancava niente, qualsiasi cosa avessimo bisogno l'abbiamo trovata. Amazing Beach House

First off, thank you very much for letting us stay at your beautiful house on the beach. It exceeded our expectations and was truly an amazing place to take all the family. Your colleague Toni was great and extremely helpful. The property is the pure definition beach front with amazing views of the ocean and coast line. I can promise you that we will be doing our best to return next summer.
