Welcome to Eagle Roost Chalet, a peaceful lakefront retreat tucked into the quiet cove of Eagle Roost in Waverly, Tennessee. Just under two hours from Nashville, this spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath chalet is designed for connection, comfort, and slowing down.

A Note from Your Host-
Over the past year, we experienced some unexpected service disruptions that impacted the consistency of our cleaning and exterior upkeep. We sincerely apologize to any guests who experienced this, as it does not reflect the standard we hold for this home.
Since then, we've made significant improvements, including updating our service partners, increasing inspection frequency, and actively upgrading the property—with new carpeting and a full deck refresh underway.
Eagle Roost is a special place to us, and we are committed to ensuring every guest experiences it at its best.

Inside, large windows frame calming lake views while warm, inviting living spaces make it easy to gather. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for shared meals, and the sunroom offers a bright spot for morning coffee, puzzles, or game nights as the seasons change. The lower-level suite provides added privacy, making it ideal for extended families, couples traveling together, or teens.

Outside, winter truly shines here. The property is in a very tranquil setting and is perfect for the much needed rest and relaxation. Lovely home a short walk from Lake Kentucky

The home was lovely. The rooms and beds were great. We had a few problems with the air conditioning and bedroom fan, so that made the hot summer days a bit challenging. The outdoor spaces were great and we loved the screened in porch.

Large family trip

The House Was just as beautiful as the picture show. The house has everything you need from plates silverware dishes cooking equipment. The view is beautiful. Everything was perfect. I would Definitely stay at this location again. We found a good place to rent a houseboat it’s about a 30 minute drive. We would definitely go again maybe next time during summer

Great stay

We rented this property for a50th Anniversary trip for my in-laws and had 7 adults and 5 kids. Had plenty of room and an Awesome view! The kitchen was full of every dishanyone would need and appliance(except a waffle iron which my mom in law brought!hehe) and lots of spices. We used that kitchen 3 times a day and my mother in law said she could cook there everyday all day with the view. Kids enjoyed bike riding and shell hunting and going to the Eva Beach area and fire pits every night. Also made a day trip to Nashville. We had an awesome relaxing stay and would definitely recommend the property!

Needs a deep clean great location.

The house was very nice in picture. The house was dirty and needs to a deep clean. The furniture was dirty and the floors had lots of dust bunnies. We found a lot of hair in the beds. The place had lots of dead bugs in every corner. This home could be a 5star but needs a good clean and restock. The location is amazing The host did not respond to any of my comments or communication. Not great communication. The trash bins at the property were full and the animals had started to make a mess. A vacation spot like this makes me worried the they will blame the mess on me.

House good; communication needs improvement

Prior to our stay (at least a week ahead) I had some questions about the property and surroundings, so I texted and also called the number and left a message with them like they requested we do. I never got a response. Other than the automatic promptings giving rules, some details, etc. usually that’s enough for me, but this time I needed to know where we could launch our boat. No response. I received the usual “arrival information” and code to get in. We arrived there a couple hours past the check in time and had a VERY hard time getting in. No response at that time. With all that said, the house was lovely and perfect for 5 couples. The view was good. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The home could use some TLC in places. The water pressure in basement is next to nothing. It looked like the trash hadn’t been picked up recently. We would go back hoping the management company takes care of the small issues.

Great place for family vacation!

The property was perfect for our 4-generation family vacation. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed tubing, swimming and paddle-boarding in the lake. The fire pit was a hit for nightly s'mores, and the open concept kitchen-living room area was big enough to accommodate everyone. We hope to come back again.

Family Paradise

We had a great time celebrating with friends and family! The home was fully equipped with everything we needed to entertain and relax. The amazing lake views and the 2 second walk to the dock were perfect. The dock store at the Mason Marina was a 10 minute boat ride and had all the necessities. We had a fun Friday night dinner at the Pebble Isle Marina, a 30 minute boat ride away. The house works perfectly for “multi family” use and we especially enjoyed the sun room and the roof top deck. Don’t forget you sunscreen and bug spray!

Staff Retreat at the Lake

The chalet was exceptional. Every photo caught our attention, however, it did not do justice to the property in person. The attention to detail and care put into the decor and every possible utility needed in the kitchen was available. Each bedroom had its own charm and comfort. The master bedroom is like a slice of heaven; each person had the chance to enjoy the large "old school" tub and the amazing jets of the shower. The hot tub was a welcome relaxation. Our younger staff members felt like they had their own place in the large lower level apartment like space using the massage chair like their own personal masseuse. We didn't get to light the fire pit due to rain but that grill sure gave us a wonderful meal to enjoy by the fireplace inside. Watching movies and music was also very enjoyable with the surround sound as well as the walk down to the lake. I can't give leave out one of the most impressive but challenging features... the Quiet!!! We didn't hear anything like the hustle and bustle of Chicago and didn't mind the fact that No Phone Calls lasted more than 30 seconds lol. We needed that getaway and look forward to visiting the area during another stay there... maybe when the weather is a bit nicer! Last but not least, the owner/manager was extremely helpful and prepared the place for an outstanding stay.
