About this property
Your house on the lake with a fireplace, sauna and bathing area nearby!
Relax in your own house by the lake in every season!
'Haus Peter am Kronsee' was built in 2013 and is located on a 750 sqm forest edge property with partial lake view. It has a living space of approx. 95 square meters.
The details: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sauna, fireplace. Pleasantly warm in every season thanks to underfloor heating via a geothermal heat pump in all rooms. Spacious living / dining area, very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee machine ...
Carport, approx. 30 sqm terrace area with rustic wooden seating, washing machine in the storage room.
2 TVs, 2 DVDs, 2 stereos with an iPod station and a small library with a games collection ensure cozy comfort for up to 6 people. The beach of the particularly clear lake is only 50 meters away. Forest trails open up the varied landscape of the Uckermark - you can hike, jog or bike here from the terrace. A paved bike path starts just 200 meters away. The village of Rutenberg belongs to the 'rafting town of Lychen', which offers supermarkets, restaurants, boat and bicycle rentals approximately 5 km away. Welcome to 'Haus Peter am Kronsee', your comfortable hideaway in the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park!
Arrival and helpful information: We recommend a car for a stay at 'Haus Peter am Kronsee', as there is no supply option in the village apart from a restaurant. However, it is also possible to enjoy a wonderful holiday only by bike. You can cycle from the train station in Fürstenberg via beautiful bike paths 15 km to Rutenberg and it is less than 5 km to go shopping in Beenz or Lychen.
Arrival by train, bicycle or taxi: There are hourly train connections from / to Berlin from Fürstenberg an der Havel. The journey time is approximately 60 minutes. A bus goes from / to Lychen - but not to Rutenberg.
Arrival by car: Coming from Berlin, take the B96 to Fürstenberg a. d.Havel, then at the end of Fürstenberg turn towards Lychen. In the city center of Lychen, turn left at the town hall and follow the main road. Then follow the signs towards Feldberg and Beenz. Between Lychen and Beenz you turn left to Rutenberg via Seeberg. In the village at the church on the left and through to the Great Kronsee.
Sports & Leisure: There is a lake behind every corner in the Uckermark. From 'Haus Peter am Kronsee' you can, for example, choose an approx. 9 km jogging route through the forest and across the fields past three lakes. Large rafts can be rented in Lychen, as well as canoes, pedal boats etc. The Lychener Lakes are connected to the Mecklenburg Lake District. For our house lake, it is definitely worth bringing an inflatable boat. Cyclists have every opportunity, because the Uckermark cycle route runs just two hundred meters behind the house. If you bring your own time, you will also find connections to the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle path. The thermal bath in Templin is also recommended. Otherwise, the area also has a lot of culture to offer. The castles in Fürstenberg, Boitzenburg and Rheinsberg often also offer concerts. The picturesque Himmelpfort and its monastery between the lakes are also just under 10 kilometers away. Of course there are also riding opportunities.
Play & Read: There are some board games in the house: Trivial Pursuit, Classic Game Collection (don't annoy yourself, mill etc.), Tricks, Taboo
The library consists of numerous novels, various non-fiction books and entertainment literature. Some volumes also in English.
