So very sorry for that inconvenience! We have purchased more and they will be available for your next stay at Honey’s Hideaway. The outdoor shower can be tricky because the valve has to be turned for either shower or foot wash. Thanks and we hope to host y’all again!!

We are sorry that you were disappointed with management. Every property has house rules and expectations upon checkout which were clearly communicated to you upon booking. Im sorry that you did not follow the house rules and therefore incurred additional cleaning and repair fees. As the photos, which were time date and location stamped, which were shared with you immediately showed there was a carrot under the sofa covered in a sticky shiny substance as well as the same clear sticky shiny substance being left on numerous surfaces in the entire home. Photos, time date and location stamped, also showed the broken shower spigot as well as dirty dishes and dirty linens left throughout the home. All of this incurred additional cleaning and repair fees.

I’m so sorry that your stay didn’t meet your expectations. Thank you for contacting the property manager to notify her of these issues, but by refusing to allow her and the cleaning crew to return to the house to address these issues there was absolutely no way for them to rectify the situation and meet your expectations.

I greatly appreciate you letting us know that the ants persist because we had the home professionally exterminated 10 days ago. I will have them rectify this immediately. My hope is that when you notice these issues, please call our 24 hour concierge and she would have handled those issues immediately. I want your stay at Honey's Hideaway to be trouble free without any issues. I hope to host you again soon!

I’m sorry that you weren’t happy with your 5 night stay at Honey’s Hideaway. I welcomed you to send your photos and video when we spoke on the phone; however I will not share my personal email. They will have to be shared via this VRBO platform. Your message on the 14th basically said you did not want to communicate with the property manager nor me for the remainder of your vacation. You had declined all of our offers to rectify any issues up to that point and when Stevi did come to try to help, you used profanity towards her. I shared a few of the photos taken of the areas that you stated were “disgusting”. These photos were taken by my cleaning crew an hour or so prior to your checking in. As you can see, the house was spotless. My cleaning crew and manager, Stevi, consistently receive 5 star reviews and comments about what a great job they do. I’m sorry that they didn’t satisfy your expectations. Also, the house was professionally exterminated two days prior to your stay on June 11,2021, so if there were any ants present then they died between when the house was cleaned and your arrival. We offered to rectify this situation by having the exterminator revisit; you declined. Stevi tried to clean the house when she visited during the first few hours, but you cursed at her so she left. The outdoor ice maker is emptied and sanitized between each guests stay. It worked before you arrived and after you departed, so perhaps it was not turned on; Stevi tried to fix that situation by bringing you 20lbs of ice until the ice-maker could produce enough ice for your use. A more serious issue is the fact that during your stay, the deadbolt locked owner’s supply closet door was actually removed from the hinges and someone accessed the supplies. Ever single towel, sheet, and quilt that was in the closet was used. Also, many of the snack supplies, toilet paper, and toiletries were missing. That is a private owner’s area. Guest are not to access deadbolt locked areas of a home at any time. I hope that your next stay in Crystal Beach at one of the other100s of vacation rentals offered by other owners, is a much better stay for you. I wish you the best.
