Our dream has come to life with our private family home named Hook, Line and Stinkers. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach; we provide all beach amenities and a wagon. The open floor plan, yard, decks, patio and pool are great for lots of family fun. The pool is heated at no extra charge March-May and September and October! Outdoor shower and parking for 4 cars. All Linens included. Centrally located to shopping, food and nightlife. Come spend some time enjoying the beautiful crystal coast.

BEACH HOUSE DETAILS AND AMENITIES
There is enough room for a group of 6 with 1700 square feet of living space.

KITCHEN
The large kitchen is well equipped with many appliances (crockpot, toaster, pressure cooker, blender, air-fryer), utensils, plates, cups, pots, pans, coffee maker (k-cup and full pot brew).

LAUNDRY
The spacious laundry room also doubles as a work space. A desk is provided as well as a comfortable reading chair. The laundry is a top load wash and front load dryer. Here you will find games, extra blankets and kid friendly amenities.

LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM
The living and dining room are on the first floor connected to the kitchen. You will find seating for 6 at the dining table. The living room has plenty of seating and a 55' smart TV. We provide access to HULU+live TV. (NOTE: The fireplace does not currently work)

-Bedroom 1: First floor Master, queen size bed, dresser, mirror
-Bedroom 2: Second floor, two twin size beds, 42" smart tv.

~OUTDOOR FEATURES~

POOL
The heated pool is the perfect addition to HLS. The many ledges allow for all types of guests, to include our smallest guests with a large 2 ft deep wading pool or sunning ledge. The extended outdoor patio with a covered portion was designed with our guests in mind. There is something for everyone to do out there. The newly sodded yard gives plenty of space for running around or one of the many outdoor games we provide.

DECK
There are a total of three decks. The front deck has enough seating for 4 people. This is our favorite to have morning coffee because you can hear the waves crashing. There are 2 back decks that are connected; one is screened in. The Sunning deck has 3 Adirondack chairs, 2 side-tables, a large umbrella and a propane grill (we provide propane). Outdoor deck lighting allows for this space to be enjoyed in the evening. The screened in deck has fans and a dining table with six chairs.

PARKING
This is a private stand alone home. There are two available spots under the home and it can fit two more cars in the driveway.

WHAT YOU MAY NOT LOVE
-The master bathroom is also the only bathroom on the first floor. The door to the master allows for the bedroom to be shut while in use by other guests.

We had a wonderful week at the house! The hosts thought of every detail throughout the property, and it was clean and welcoming. The pool was perfect and it was a short walk to the beach. It was really nice to have all beach items available. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient. Highly recommend!

This property is a wonderful place for a family vacation! This is our second year spending our fall vacation here with my daughter, son in law and grandson, and we will continue to come back as long as our schedule works out. The house is lovely and perfectly situated a short walk from the beach, in a quiet neighborhood convenient to shops and restaurants. The pool, which is heated to a very comfortable temperature, is a wonderful place for relaxing and playing in the afternoon after a morning at the beach. The house is beautiful, and Stephanie, the owner, has made sure that it's well furnished and stocked with the items you need - this includes pool and beach accessories as well as items inside. Stephanie's incredibly generous welcome basket was very exciting to my grandson - and to the adults. I definitely recommend this property with 5 stars!!!

Paradise on the Isle!

This property was unbelievable. My grandkids loved the pool. The homeowner was amazing with anything we reached out about. The pool is full sun all day long and has a perfect shaded amount in the evening after a long sunny day! The kitchen is equipt with everything you could need and their pool/beach items are so generous that you need to bring nothing of your own! We would rent this property over and over again for the pool alone! The sitting shelf and benches built in are perfect for literally all ages. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Hook, Line & Stinker

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The house was immaculate and exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed the amazing pool and screened in porch for family dinners. It was super close to the beach and shopping. We hope to be able to stay again. Communication with Steph was excellent and she left no detail untouched including the awesome welcome basket. I highly recommend this treasure!

What a great house. They have thought of every detail. The pool area was well used. We did get a golf cart because parents could not do the walk. Also, cart was great with all our beach stuff. Owner is amazing with help and updates etc.

Great Family Home

This rental worked great for our family! There was plenty of space for my husband and I, my son and his family, and my mother. It included everything we needed for my 1 year old grandson. The host left a very nice welcome basket and many thoughtful touches throughout the home. All of the outdoor seating areas were awesome and we had the best time spending afternoons in the pool after mornings at the beach. Hook, Line, and Stinkers is a special place that we hope to come back to!

Thought of everything

My family and I were very impressed with the level of care and thoughtfulness that’s clearly gone into this property. Everything is up to date, clean, and fully functional. It feels very fresh, fully stocked, and ready for vacation! The beach was a little walk, but my 2 year old happily walked back and forth. We especially loved having so many spots to hang out - front porch, screened in back porch, sun porch, under deck poolside, and sitting in the sun near the pool. There was so much space! We were able to have extra family over for meals and fun in the pool with plenty of room to spread out. Thanks y’all!

Truly Awesome

What an amazing trip. I can not say enough about our stay. The owners are some of the best owners I have had the pleasure renting from. Their communication is great, it is proactive and positive. They are quick to reply and address any questions or concerns. The house is wonderful. It is great space, very comfortable and easy to relax in, we really felt at home. There are little touches everywhere. We needed nothing, everything was thought of and provided. The quality of everything is first class as well. The beach is a very short walk down the street. The beach is nice, it is very wide and has lots of great sand and surf. The house location is great too, super close to shopping, grocery, restaurants. It is easy to get to and easy to find. This is one of the best properties I have rented. The value is amazing, the owners are wonderful, the property is really great.

Perfect size home in a fantastic location

This is a tastefully and thoughtfully updated home in a perfect location. The house is in a great neighborhood with very easy beach access. We were also able to walk to ice cream and dinner. I most enjoyed the outdoor spaces - coffee on the front porch, dinner on the screened in porch, drinks on the sun deck, and shower outside! We had plenty of room to store our SUP boards under the house where they were protected from the wind/sun. The size was perfect for us as we wanted more room than a small condo but not the cost of a huge multi-family home. Stephanie is a great host! I'll definitely stay here when we visit Emerald Isle again.

Amazing home!

Home away from home, every detail was so well thought out. It was truly like staying at a resort. Comfy beds, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, even toiletries. Well stocked kitchen with every appliance and dinnerware, cookware you could imagine. Home was immaculate and the owners were so wonderful to work with. By far the best VRBO we have stayed in. We highly recommend!

Super home!

We hate leaving this house, it was so comfortable. We spent three weeks while my kids continued virtual school and my husband worked as well. Perfectly clean, in great shape, beautiful decorations, an open layout downstairs with beautiful space upstairs. The kitchen had everything you could hope for. We enjoyed the barbecue grill. The 3 patios were great with really comfortable outdoor furniture. Steph was extremely responsive with any questions we had! We loved walking around the neighborhood looking at the interesting houses on stilts. We loved going for walks on the beach a couple times a day. This house is located in the most convenient and safe neighborhood. Two great restaurants walkable distance, two grocery stores a 5 minute drive. We definitely recommend this vrbo property!!

Beach dream

Great visit. The rental had a welcome a basket with a few snacks & breakfast items. Toiletries, slippers & towels were provided which was great for our 2 day weekend. Also, nice cookware and plenty of dishes. Best VRBO rental I've ever stayed in. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I met over ten years ago in Emerald Isle. He was serving in the Marine Corps at the time and I had grown up as a Marine daughter. Our story started on the island with many walks to pier and then a quick stop at the local ice cream shop. We took advantage of the beach life, the fantastic restaurants and the fun small town night life. He proposed to me under the pier 3 years later and we made a promise that day that we would own a piece of the island; a piece of our story. Six years later we expanded our family by having a daughter who is now our whole world. She has a love for the water like us and all that the beautiful Crystal Coast has to offer. Life took us in many directions but we now live in Raleigh and are fortunate enough to call two places home. We love cooking and hosting.

Why they chose this property

The day we got engaged we made a promise to own a piece of our story. We have always had an eye on the area and were just waiting for the perfect house for us. When we saw this home we immediately fell in love with the yard and the tree lined driveway. The open concept interior and the general layout of the home was one we truly could see our family being apart of. The short walk to the beach was ideal and that it is a stand alone home in an amazing neighborhood. We just knew this home needed to be apart of our family.

What makes this property unique

Our home is located at the beginning of the island! This saves so much time on traffic and is centrally located to everything ( Shops, grocery stores, restaurants). It is located in a quiet neighborhood that allows for relaxing walks!
