Welcome to your perfect Hilton Head Island getaway! This bright and spacious 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom beach house sleeps up to 23 guests and is located in the beautiful gated community of Sandcastles by the Sea, just a short 5–7 minute shaded walk to Folly Field Beach.

Overlooking a stunning lagoon with a lighted fountain, this professionally decorated home features an elevator, private heated pool, outdoor fire pit dining area, propane BBQ grill, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Whether you're gathering for a family reunion, golf trip, or group getaway, this property offers comfort, convenience, and fun.

The property listing advertised amenities including a ping pong table, an arcade with over 5,000 games, body boards, an LED beer pong table, cornhole, and beach toys. Unfortunately, none of these items were available at the property, which made the listing feel misleading. Additionally, the living room furniture differed from what was shown in the online photos.

BE FOREWARNED. Though a picture can say a thousand words and the images shown indicate a lovely property, nothing could prepare us for the overwhelming t*xic fumes from the noxious air quality. We could smell the overwhelming sour, urine-like fumes beginning on the kitchen/living level which became increasingly stronger as we went to the 3rd and 4th level where the bedrooms were located. We could not open any windows because there were no window screens, so we endured the first night and slept on the lower floors. By the time we woke up, our noses were irritated and our lungs were heavy from the fumes. We investigated and saw formations of moist black "fuzz" tucked away in several places throughout the building - especially on the upper-most floors. One of us with a Master of Science, wondered if we were possibly breathing in volatile organic compounds from t*xic m*ld. The owner may need to have testing and remediation to ensure the property is safe for future visitors. Unfortunately, we did not see a previous review which spoke of similar air quality issues - which were ignored. We took several photos and contacted VRBO Customer Care who helped us locate safer accommodations so that our full vacation was not ruined. Additionally, this property needs further maintenance (walls, non-functioning elevator, cabinet doors off hinges, poor water pressure in primary suite). BE FOREWARNED.

Excellent Family Reunion House

Had a family reunion here with 19 people. The house was super clean, and had room for all of us. We had fun watching the turtles on the lagoon sprinkler, and we walked to the beach several times. The kitchen is roomy enough to make big dinners. Great stay.

Very nicely equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. Very clean interior and had plenty of beds for everyone. Seating in living area was perfect for our family and children liked the games. The outside garage code did not open the door, however we just opened it from close to beach and places to eat within walking distance.
