You and your guests will have no trouble feeling right at home in no time, as the interior of this getaway offers everything from an inviting wood-burning stove to a full kitchen equipped with all of the appliances and utensils needed to whip up tasty meals each day. After a full day on the slopes or hiking in amongst the greenery, there will be no better way to settle down than sipping a favorite cocktail on the private balcony. Not to mention, even more fun can be had closer to home with the shared pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and basketball courts! Sitting within walking distance of numerous breweries and restaurants and just two miles from Stowe proper, there will be no delay in checking out all of the charming attractions nearby. After grabbing a bite to eat or coffee from a local cafe, pack up your ski gear and head up to Stowe Mountain Resort (five-and-a-half miles north) and make a day of shredding fresh powder with loved ones. We were there for fall foliage not skiing. Location was good but the HUGE inconvenience was we arrived to a note (from 2024!) about no water usage for drinking, cooking, coffee, brushing teeth, etc. We were NOT warned of this, yet we were warned by email prior to arriving about construction. The construction was a non issue...the water was an absolute inconvenience and was unacceptable.

Great ski getaway

This 2 br and 2 bath condo had lots to offer. Sofas were super comfy. Morning views from the patio were beautiful. Very convenient location just a few miles from the ski slopes and close to downtown Stowe and all of the restaurants.

The View

Great Cozy Condo

This condo is very cute, with plenty of room for a family, and we enjoyed our stay there! The view from the balcony is amazing. The location is also great: central place to explore all the different things to see in Stowe and neighboring areas. Some of the furniture and other things in the condo are old and not working as well, so hopefully the owners consider updating some of those pieces. But besides that, we would recommend this place.

VT mountainside condo in Stowe

We enjoyed our stay and the great view over the mountains. The condo was clean and has a nice living room and well-appointed kitchen. Dining area is tight with a big table and chairs but workable. There is only one air conditioning unit (it's in the dining room) and the condo was extremely hot when we arrived. Windows are hard to operate but we eventually got some open to cool the bedrooms.

All in all this was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, very comfortable with a fabulous view outside on the back deck. The only glitch we encountered was getting access to the nearby pool house. Great lodge and good space

We will be back to enjoy this cozy lodge. Everything was near by and things were as they are listed. We were happy. One thing to note is that it was very hard to get in touch with the host since it's not really a host it's another company like VRBO (Vacasa) and had to message them / go online chat etc and they messaged 24 hours later saying we were very busy. Other than that it was great.

Location was convenient. Heat and hot water were very good good. Bed in master was good but beds in second room are very hard. Kitchen faucet not working and WiFi barely working (not working at all in bedrooms). Some coat hooks in the unit would be helpful. Overall, not a bad unit but a couple of things could make a big difference.

first time we tried Vacasa is also the last

We've never experienced a rental agency who cancelled bookings repeatedly and left the customer to search again when a lesser property was offered. In three cancellations on the same reservation, it was treated each time as if it were the first time. Even when they cancelled 13 minutes prior to check-in, leaving us to find a new accommodation for that day, it was treated as no big deal. Had I not insisted on speaking to a supervisor TWICE (the first time no request was submitted by the booking agent), no attention would have been given to three cancellations. This was our first Vacasa booking and likely our last. The property was fine, if dated, but there were maintenance issues not being addressed between guests, like a shade falling down from the window held up somewhat by decorative ribbon, vertical blinds missing from the window but stacked in the corner of the living room, a desk that fell apart if touched, paint cans stored near open flame, etc.
