Branding Iron offers breathtaking views of the Hills in Concan. A beautiful custom home in the Tierra Linda subdivision. This home rents for 26 guests with beds for up to 30. It has 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. Each bedroom has its own private bath and closet. Four of the baths have large walk in showers and one has a tub/ shower combo. This spacious open concept floor plan is great for large gatherings and families. This home is tastefully decorated and has vaulted ceilings in living room and a beautiful fireplace for you to enjoy in the winter months. It has granite throughout the home, all stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer and an extra refrigerator on the spacious outdoor kitchen area. It has WiFi and 3 large flat screen TV’s with satellite for your enjoyment.

Outdoors you will find a 15 x 30 sports pool with sun deck. A water volleyball, waterfall, Washer pitch, horseshoe pitch, bean bag toss, Hooey game and more. A fire pit, BBQ pit and huge outdoor kitchen with large flat-screen TV and plenty of seating Are awaiting on the outdoor covered patio. Tether-ball and patio games available!

FREE RIVER ACCESS at the Concan Swimming Hole (Hwy 127 / First Crossing)

- Pillows, bed sheets and light bed covers are provided.
- Towels are not provided.
- Any additional toiletries after the initial supply is the responsibility of the renter.
- Customer's must bring their own trash bags, additional toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing liquid, dishwasher pods

Inside you will find a FULLY equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, toaster, 2 twelve cup and a 30 cup coffee pot, large electric griddle, crock-pot, electric knife, Blender and plenty of spices stocked in the cabinet for your cooking enjoyment. There are plenty of pots and pans and cookie sheets, dishes etc. for your use.

Note: There is NO gate/fence between the backdoor of the home and the pool area. Fence encloses the outdoor living space.

This home is conveniently located one street over from the House Pasture Restaurant, A Texas Music Venue, and Concan Country Club.

Must be 25 or older to rent this property.

Pets are NOT ALLOWED. Any pet found on the property will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and immediate eviction with no refund. The same policy applies to smoking in the home. Please don't make us have to enforce these!

This stay was one of the best stays we have had! The location is perfect, the pool is a great touch after a day at the river! Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to have a great time here in concan!

Prefect stay

We had a fantastic time at this property. Fit our needs perfectly. House layout was amazing. Had everything as advertised. High recommended for large gatherings. Very clean. Comfy beds. Cold AC. June Birthdays Family Getaway

Overall, the house accommodated us perfectly! Each room with a private bath was a game changer. The outdoor entertainment space was wonderful! Our only recommendation or suggestion would be to have cleaning products for kitchen countertop/stovetop on hand for daily use. Other than that, everything was as described and exceeded our expectations. We'll be back next year!

I really enjoyed the stay. Shane helped us with Place in the lightbulb in the pool. The only thing is that the waterfall didn’t work other than that it was a great place to stay.

Excellent vacation

Great house, with plenty of room to fit everyone. We had 10 adults, and 9 children. Was only about a 5 minute drive to the convenient store, and 5 minutes to the watering hole we used. The house was great, especially with the pool.

Great Place for a family retreat

We loved the Branding Iron, is was amazing. 11 adults and 8 children, we had more than enough room. Staff is extremely helpful, and handled any issues that came up. Highly recommend

Great Family Vacation

While there were a few issues with the property, it was still such a great experience. Loved the space, and especially the pool and grill/bar area, plus star gazing at night time. We will definitely book another trip next year, and recommend to friends. Shane was awesome to work with, very helpful.

Great home for get away.

It’s a great home, just needs some improvements on appliances refrigerator wasn’t cooling at first, half of the house a/c not working, the stove/range not working property, outside TV no audio just images. Looking forward till next summer.

Family Vacation 2023

The house was great! Its was so nice to have bathrooms in every bedroom and the common space was perfect for us to all be together! Even when half of us were outside in the amazing pool, we felt like we were all together because of the layout. There were clear parameters about what was for private use and open for us to use. Having towels provided would've been nice but overall this place was great!

Awesome time on and off the Frio river

This place has so many amenities! Previous mentions to prepare to stay are accurate as far as outdoor flies on food, paper products, trash bags, etc. I would also add to bring some sort of absorbable and dryable shower matt for the doorless showers. The tile floors are extra slippery when wet and you only brought a bath towel. The AC in the rooms on the East side of the house do not work very well at night, but the AC on the West side work way above average. There were several small roaches on the counters in the kitchen. Do not leave food out inside. The cabinet that slides open and closed for trash access in the kitchen is about to break… it does not slide open or close easily. Now for the amazing pros of The Branding Iron: The place is very spacious with plenty of rooms and allows families to have their own bathroom and bedroom combo in the house and then an extra half bath outside by the pool. Tons of games to play on the back porch and backyard area. Outdoor covered cabana is awesome. I would definitely want to stay here again!

Great weekend getaway experience!!

We rented this house for my daughters 15 th bday and it was a great experience from kids to grandparents. The property manager was very prompt and efficient with any request / questions made. The house was very clean and spacious for large groups with plenty of different areas to hangout like the beautiful pool area. Would totally recommend this place for your stay!

Such a fun time…will be back!

We had a family of 16 people, ranging from 10 to 80 years old. Everyone had more than enough room to relax inside and outside. Unfortunately, the Frio River was too low to hang out in but the house had enough activities to keep all of us entertained. My 78 and 80 year old parents had no problem getting around. Communication with Shane was great, one of the air conditioners was not working when we arrived on Thursday. He was able to get someone out and it was fixed that evening. The pool pump was also not working. Someone was out and it was fixed by Friday afternoon. Only complaint is the house could use a deep clean. Something fell under one of the beds, it was nasty under there. Otherwise, all was great. We will definitely be back.

Great Place to Stay

This house is amazing to stay for a large group. It was very clean upon arrival and easy access when checking in. Very roomy for all of us. Shane, the owner, responded quickly if needed, which I didn't need him at, but he responded when we checked in and checked out. Due to the severe drought and unable to float the frio, the pool was a huge plus, but we were able to get passes for everyone for the Concan Swimming Hole that is provided with house, but you have to go to the swimming hole to get them. Neighbors are at a good distance between us, so you really don't have to worry about the noise. The house was nice and cool considering that it was a 100 plus degrees. They have everything you can think of for kitchen accessories. I definitely would recommend this place to stay. We had no problems at all. I would make sure to bring paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags sizes 13 gallon and 50+ gallon, bath/beach towels, fly and bee traps (they hover really quick to outdoor patio if you have food out. Coffee supplies. Floats for pool as well if you like to hang in the pool. Charcoal, lighter fluid, lighter, and wood for fire pit if you like to cook outside. Paper plates, silverware if you don't like to wash dishes on vacay. If you plan on cooking, I would recommend bringing food or there is an HEB in Uvalde that is about 25 miles out from the house. Recommendation: Make sure to take outdoor trash to trash bin every night cause the racoons get into and make a huge mess. We also got corn one night and placed it in back field behind the fence, so we had lots of deer visit in the evening when we were sitting on patio. It's beautiful if you love nature. Thanks again Shane, we will definitely will be recommending your place to stay at and will keep it in mind for future use.
