Diamond’s Place is a vacation get away on 20 acres. 1100 sqft wrap around covered porch overlooking a 3/4 acre private pond. The pond is well stocked with bass and brim for easy catching. Large fire pit with log benches between the house and pond.
House has 5 bedrooms, 6 beds + a toddler bed. Open floor plan which accommodates large gatherings easily. Great sound system with speakers in the living room and porch! Guests are able to connect their device to the sound system and enjoy their music inside and out. The pond includes a paddle boat and there are life jackets in the barn. Downstairs has another full size fridge, pool table, dart board, living room area with Roku tv & other games for our guests.



The space
Smoking at the house:
There is a 1100 square foot covered porch which is a great place to enjoy a smoke with friends. In consideration of guests who do not smoke we ask all guests to refrain from smoking inside.

Security cameras:
There are security cameras outside the home, on all entrances and parking areas. There is also one security camera in the downstairs garage.

Folding tables and chairs available:
There are around 12 assorted folding chairs and two card tables in the foyer closet There are also 3 six foot, 1 eight foot, and 1 five foot folding table in the downstairs garage for our guests use. These are included with your booking.

For large and / or formal events, we have up to 90 new white folding chairs available for rent @ $2 per chair.

We also have ten, 5 foot round banquet tables available for rent @ $10 each.
Tables and chairs are here on site. No pick up or delivery required!

Guest access...
House access:
The front door has keypad entry. Guest will be given their access code prior to check in time. Guest will have use of the entire house from the fully equipped kitchen the the two car garage on the lower level. Garage door opener is provided for guest use.

Property limits:
The property line extends to the barbed wire fence at the tree line in the back of the field and along the barbed wire fence / tree line behind the field to the right. A tenant farmer has crops planted during the year so be mindful not to damage his crop.
To the left, the property line runs along the seasonal creek at the bottom of the hill in the woods. You may even find remnants of my grandfather’s barbed wire fence from when he raised cattle on the land. Feel free to walk and explore all of the property.

The white detached garage is used for storage and equipment for the property. This space is locked and not available for guest.

Regarding the bass pond...safety first!!!
Use extreme caution around the pond!!! The pond was designed as a bass pond, it gets deep fast, and small children may not be able to touch the bottom at the edge in some areas. This is a fishing pond, not a pool, if a person cannot swim well enough to get to the surface you may not be able to find them in time. If you choose to use the paddle boat, make sure to use the life jackets provided. Please pay close attention to all the children. I don’t think I could take having that type of tragedy happening at my family home.
