We enjoyed our stay at the Pearl House. Home was spacious clean, and comfortable. Host Nicky was very accessible and answered questions right away. Neighborhood was quite and very easy access to the seawall or strand.
I really enjoyed the overall experience. The host was super friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions and offer suggestions for things to do in the area. The amenities were also top-notch, with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a clean bathroom. But what really stood out was the location. It was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I would definitely stay there again!

Thank you so much, Sabrina! We are so pleased you enjoyed our home!
The house was very nice! When we arrived, the home was clean and inviting. It was the perfect size for my family! The owner was also very accommodating and friendly.
Great place to stay. Close to the seawall, moody gardens and Schlitterbaun water park. Everything we had planned on our trip. The property manager made sure we had everything we needed and even communicated throughout the trip to make sure things were going smoothly.
The kitchen utensils were not clean. The bbq grille didn’t work, full of propane but didn’t work, it also was extremely rusty. The ac system is “locked on hold”, this made it very difficult to adjust and would not change from the hold. So the house was cold or hot, depending on day or night. We continued to run out of supplies like dish soap, trash bags, etc. While the house was decorated nicely, I would not recommend for anyone with young kids as some of the stuff is breakable if handled too much. Also, most of the stuff has price tags. Luckily I had all teenagers and told they are paying for anything they break. If you are a coffee drinker, they do have a nice setup to make coffee every morning. Also, they were doing construction next door all day during the week, while typically you can’t control, we later found out it was the owners house also. Made it very difficult to relax and work from home. A big recommendation would be to provide to more than one key, we were in two different places a lot and had to use the difficult lock box constantly. I will say the owner is extremely nice and responded to text very quickly.

Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate your booking. Please be sure to address issues you have with the host to allow them to assist where possible. Several of the issues you had would’ve been fairly easy to address. The items for sale could have been moved to a closet and would’ve allowed for the blinds to shut. Our apologies for the construction, we did however only work 9-5. We would’ve gladly ceased the construction to allow you to have a quiet work day. The thermostat is able to completely altered. We only ask to have it on auto and not hold to keep the ac unit from working continuously, which causes burn out. The doors are able to fully lock from the inside without the key. The key lock is for when you leave the house. The salt air hear really deteriorates outdoor furnishings and we will be removing the grill. Please allow your future hosts to respond to concerns, especially if they can be easily addressed.
The house is beautiful, very clean! It feels like home. It’s closed to all the attractions and that’s what i like the most. My family and I had a good time. Thanks Nick
We didn’t realize how close to the beach we really were! Such a beautiful house and so spacious and gave us plenty of room especially with 4 different girls to get ready. Walmart is super close! So that was a plus. We loved it thank you for hosting us!
Nice home and number of beds needed for our softball tournament weekend.Having a gas grill was nice on back porch but could have better lighting to cook in evening. Overall nice home and space needed.

Birthday getaway
The house itself was in a great location for us. We checked in a little later than check in time and ran into the owners who were taking care of the plants in the yard. The lawn itself was overgrown and we’re informed that the lawn care service would be here the following day to take care of it. We had to plug in any lamps that we wanted to use throughout the house. The ice maker on the refrigerator constantly dripped so I had to place a towel in the door to catch the water. The cleanliness of the house needed work. We ended up with black feet after walking around the wood floors. The advertisement of an inviting back porch was misleading. It was very overgrown, dirty with a used tissue in the table and a grill that needed to be cleaned. We found a child’s wallet on the edge of the porch as well. After looking through the welcome book we found the owners of the wallet and sent them their items. I think the house was unprepared for visitors, even though we booked months in advance. I did appreciate the fact that the house was big enough for my family and that my daughter got to celebrate her 21st birthday on the island.
This house was so cute! We went for my daughters 16th birthday. We had a good time, house is roomy. One thing with families with kids is I feel it was so fragile. Meaning I was afraid the kids would break or ruin things if they touched anything. Would definitely recommend for adults but maybe not for small kiddos that like to touch and pick up things. Luckily my children are older so it was fine for us. Lots of things to buy around the house which made it feel like a little store/museum with all the history attached.
We had a very enjoyable stay in this property. It is easy to find and very convenient for the sea wall and Moody Gardens. We would certainly return at some time if we are in the area again and it is available.
