The room was immaculate! Very impressed with the cleanliness. Communication with Beyond Blue was exceptional. Jodi checked on us multiple times and was quick to respond when I had a question. The description of the room listed a dishwasher in the studio and it does not have one. No big deal though! Overall, I would highly recommend staying here! Sterling shores had great beach access and the codes to all gates worked seamlessly. We enjoyed our time! Unit is perfect for a couples getaway! We will be returning to Sterling Shores with our family next time!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay. Our only thing that would have been easier to see would be a larger room number and explanation on finding it.
Response from VrboOwner on 12 Jun, 2026
Thank you for your review! We're so glad to hear you had a lovely stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding the room number and locating the unit. The size and placement of the unit numbers are determined by the HOA, so we are unable to make changes to the signage ourselves. That said, we understand how larger numbers and clearer directions could make arrival easier, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another visit soon!

Very clean! Very convenient to local eating and shops. Construction was going on that way a bit loud during the day. Beach access was very easy. Nice pool.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. Unfortunately, the building scheduled a roof repair during that time, which was completely out of our hands. We understand how disruptive that can be and truly regret the impact it had on your visit. Since being made aware, we have added this information to our listing so future guests are properly informed. We appreciate your understanding and hope to provide you with a much smoother and more relaxing stay next time.

The room felt bigger than expected. The bathroom was the most surprising part. It had a really good amount of storage and room to put items. The kitchenette was a little small so I wouldn’t plan on cooking full meals in there. Everything else from the room was exactly what we expected in terms of view, size, and location. The only reason this was not 5 stars is because our room had a conjoined door with the suite next to us. You could hear the room next to you occasionally depending on where they were in the suite. Not a big deal for me and my fiancé but if you want a truly romantic getaway for cheap that might not be ideal. Check-in wasn’t overly complicated. They let me check in a hour early free of charge as well because the room was ready. Check-out was not overly complicated. Very easy walk to the beach and the private beach was not overly crowded even in June. I would definitely recommend getting the chair service that setup in the beach for you for the best spots. Otherwise for the price, the room was very good.

Thank you so much for this detailed and thoughtful review! We are so glad the room felt bigger than expected and that the bathroom storage was a pleasant surprise. We love hearing that the view, size and location all met your expectations and that check in and check out were smooth and easy. We are also happy we were able to get you checked in a little early at no charge! We appreciate the honest feedback about the conjoined door and the noise from the neighboring suite. That is definitely something to keep in mind for guests who are looking for a truly quiet and private experience. We also love the tip about the beach chair service as that is such a great way to secure the best spots on the private beach! We would absolutely love to welcome you and your fiancé back again soon for another wonderful stay!

Enjoyable stay in Destin.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the apartment (Sterling Shores 804A) and we may choose to go there again. Me and my wife had an enjoyable stay there. The only recommendation, given that typically there are two people booking, is that the seating area should accommodate a couple. Now there is a single chair inside, and a single patio chair outside, with a minuscule table that cannot properly fit two coffee mugs and two full size plates, a for breakfast, or for lunch.
