Love the View - Beautiful Mountain Escape w/Hot Tub, Pool Table, Arcade & WiFi

Welcome to ‘Love the View’! Located in Dogwood Farms mountain community. You will be able to relax and take in the spectacular mountain views while dining outside on the patio or simply starting your day with a cup of coffee and your favorite book. With two wonderful covered decks, you will have plenty of options to pick your favorite spot.

Walking up the few steps onto the deck leads you to the beautiful view of the Pigeon Forge Valley. With two wonderful covered decks, you will have plenty of options to pick your favorite spot whether it’s enjoying dinner outside, relaxing in a rocking chair, grabbing an afternoon nap in the hammock or sipping a sweet tea while swinging on the porch swing. During the summer months you will also be able to see the fireworks shot off every night at Dollywood from the deck. All guests are provided free access to the seasonal Pool and fishing pond (year-round) located at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli.

Located on the main level of Love the View is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with enough seating for 6. Keurig coffee machine (pods not provided) and regular coffee pot (coffee and filters provided) available. The cozy living room provides you and your guests with leather couches to watch your favorite shows, free wifi, or enjoying the gas fireplace on those chiller nights (Fireplace is seasonal and will be turned off May 1 to Sept 30th). Also, on the main level is a king size bedroom with a flat screen tv with an adjoining bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub and shower.

Venture downstairs and you will find a pull-out queen sleeper sofa and couch along with a pool table, TV and DVD player, lots of board games, cards and books. A NEW Multi-Arcade with 60 Games including all the classic favorites like PacMan, Donkey Kong, Galaga was added in June 2021. You can conveniently access the lower deck where you will enjoy the relaxing hot tub which was upgraded in June 2021. Also, on the lower level is a king size bedroom with a full bath nearby. Washer and dryer are located on the lower level with ironing board and iron. There is also a water filtration system thru the entire cabin.

Blacktop road all the way with the last 2mins on a one lane road. No 4x4 required except for the winter months if there is snow. If you are not familiar with driving in the mountains which entails windy and steep roads recommend you arrive for your first time to the cabin during the daylight. I also have a video of the drive through the neighborhood that I can share.

The cabin is conveniently located 3 miles to the beautiful Foothills Parkway, 6 miles to Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli in Wears Valley, 8 miles to Pigeon Forge, 12 miles to downtown Gatlinburg and 8 miles to The Great Smoky Mountains Metcalf Bottoms.

Starter pack provided for essentials (soap, shampoo, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwashing detergent and toilet paper). If staying multiple days please plan accordingly. Charcoal for the park style grill is not provided.

The cabin will be decorated for Christmas in early November to January based on availability.

Love the View has a motion surveillance system recording the driveway. All other areas of the home are private.

Incredible view, Perfect location, and Comfortable beds

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. We love the area that it’s located in and it provides amazing views. The whole family enjoyed the amenities and layout of the cabin. The beds were very comfortable, and the communication with the host was great as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing and Beautiful

We loved staying at the cabin. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was warm and clean. The owner left plenty of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning spray and laundry soap. This was an addition I haven’t seen at many places we have rented, but it helped to keep it clean, so there was t as much to do during check out. We would stay here again. I would advise thinking about the weather if you don’t have 4 wheel drive. There is at least one hill that my van probably wouldn’t have made it up if the weather had been bad. It also could have just been my comfort level with it. The first day my tires slipped, but after a few days I was navigating it like a pro.

Great cabin, great view, great location

Stayed with the family entire week for Thanksgiving. Everyone loved the cabin and the view. Although the cabin is all one needs to spend some quality time with the family, the cabin's proximity (20 minutes drive) to all the attractions was an added benefit. Planty of choices to eat out as well, do consult the owner's suggested restaurants list, you won't be disappointed. All in all, everyone had a great time. The only downside, and to my wife's relief, no bears came to visit us :-)

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful cabin with all the extras! Dawn has thought of everything! From the laundry pods, to hairdryers, handheld mirrors, books, movies, games, and loads more! Cabin is VERY clean and beutofully decorated! Master bed is on the firm side, which is perfect for us! Our kiddo loved the pool table and arcade game!! Upon arriving we werent sure about the closeness of the 2 cabins next door, but once your inside and on the back porch with the AMAZING view you dont even notice them! Dawn chrcked in on us to make sure we arrived safely and to ensure there were no issues! We've been staying in cabins for 10 years and this was a first!!! Thank you, Dawn, for a wonderful stay at Love The View!!!

Decent stay with few improvement areas.

We had a 4 night stay recently. Overall property is good but definitely needs improvement for the price. Few positives - Communication was swift - Cabin is Ideal for 4 adults ( not more than that ) - Cleanliness - views are decent from the top floor. Few Improvement areas - maintenance of bathrooms ( they fixed few issues with in a half day time ) but it’s not expected after traveling 8-9 hours of road trip and for the price we are paying. - it’s not in quiet area ( at-least the days we stayed ). Lot of tree cutting and construction activities sound during morning hours . - lacks of basic toiletries for 4 nights , we felt much better loads on other cabins we stayed last year.

Cabin was exactly as advertised. It was the cleanest VRBO I believe I have stayed in and is fully stocked for your needs. The host was kind enough to leave flowers for our anniversary. I would advise arriving before dark. Once you have driven it once it is easy to locate/drive.

Best VRBO experience ever

We’ve stayed in countless VRBO properties around the globe and I can honestly say hands down this one was the most seamless stay we’ve ever had. Absolutely zero issues before, during or after our stay, and the cabin itself was spotless with so many thoughtful extras! In the upstairs bedroom there was a charging cube that took usb cords or regular plugs- which was fantastic since my youngest forgot his charging block. The kitchen was very well stocked, there were loads of extra blankets all over the cabin perfect for curling up on the deck in the evenings. The hot tub, pool table, and game system provided endless entertainment as well! Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back!

Felt Like Home

Love the view was so beautiful. The cabin itself felt like home. The view was amazing. We saw snow! My daughter loved the arcade games. Everything you need is provided in this cabin and the hosts reply so quickly. We want to come back in the fall and stay again!

We loved the cabin! The kitchen had everything we needed and we also used the outside grill. The view was beautiful!! The perfect view to wake up to every morning. The cabin was exactly as advertised. We liked that the cabin was away from town but close enough to most of the things we wanted to do. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. It was our first time to visit the Smoky Mountains and we had a fabulous time! If we visit the area again we will definitely contact Dawn for this cabin.

Still “Love the View”!

This was our second year in a row to “Love the View”. Everything was clean and pristine. The view from the lower deck is getting obstructed by trees, but the view from the upper deck is still breathtaking! We will definitely be back!

The BEST cabin

Love the view is the perfect name for this cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning looking at the mountains. The cabin smelled so fresh and clean upon entering. It has all the amenities you could ask for. The pool table and arcade game were a plus, kept the kids entertained! The first time driving up to it made me a little nervous, but it actually isn’t a bad drive. We even saw a little bear cub on the street our last day there. Dawn checked in with us the first day to make sure everything was good and she is very responsive to any messages I sent. Such a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Wonderful cabin!

The views alone make this cabin an amazing place to stay! We liked that the cabin was only about a 10 min drive to Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge but also far enough away to really enjoy the quiet of the mountains. The cabin itself was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool table &games provided. Dawn was a great host, she messaged to make sure we were able to get in without issues.

Excellent stay!!

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Amazing views!! Perfect for my husband, myself, our 4 grown children and 7 month old grandson. Our stay was amazing at this cabin. The only thing I would have wished for was a better mattress for the master king bed. But overall we will definitely be back!!!

I grew up in East Tennessee and have called Nashville, TN home for the past 10 years. I have traveled to the Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas since I was a child and continue to be inspired by the beauty and serenity. I’m excited to be a host and welcome guests to “Love the View” cabin.
