Charming cottage for 12-16 people right on the forest with a fireplace room + sauna

Holidays with friends or the extended family

In our individually furnished holiday home in Oberbärenburg you can really relax.
Located directly at the forest, in the midst of the fresh mountain air of the Ore Mountains, you live in our guest house Elfriede at an altitude of 750 m. Relax in the tranquility of an old climatic health resort, experience pure nature, find time to be alone, to be together or to be active.

Our house is ideal for holidays with friends or the multi-generation family. You can prepare culinary delights yourself in our shared kitchen and then enjoy the delicacies together at the large table. Make yourself comfortable in the leather sofa and chat by the open fireplace after an eventful day.
Play with friends and children in the large garden or just enjoy doing nothing on the lawn. In the evening, grill together on the large terrace in the evening or actively relax in the sauna after a winter hike.
Generously distributed over three floors, you can find your individual retreat in one of our 4 residential units. You can expect freshly made beds with insufficient bed linen. For those who stayed at home, you can send a message from your vacation at any time via our free WiFi network.

Snow and sun, fun and variety, relaxation, culture and lots of sporting challenges simply go together perfectly: cross-country trails, ski slope in town, bobsleigh track Altenberg with international events in the immediate vicinity, castles and fortresses, Dresden, Prague, varied hikes, high moor, botanical garden, summer toboggan run, natural ponds and much more
