The gourmet kitchen has everything you need to prepare fantastic family or romantic meals. The space is equipped with a washer + dryer and has a large ski locker 25 feet from your door. The underground parking garage offers private, gated parking with elevators for quick and easy access. The unique floor plan features eleven-foot ceilings with an open kitchen, dining, and living area. Located in building C of Capital Peak Lodge, the unit is steps from the gondola, with easy access to all of the winter and summer activities, shops, restaurants and hotels. As a ground floor corner unit, there are large windows on two sides and a large walk-out patio with amazing down-valley views. Just next door are amenities including two hot tubs, an exercise facility and a Great Room with fireplace.
🚦 Base Village Transit Center offers transportation to/from the airport, downtown Aspen, top of the village, and everywhere in between. Servicing all four mountains, the skier shuttle provides rides to Aspen Ajax, Buttermilk, and Highlands every 15 - 30 minutes. Capitol Peak Lodge is a great location for ski-in/ski out. ABL was great to work with and flexible as we navigated some arrival and departure travel weather complications. Their office must be nearby because they were quick to pop over when we needed anything. The unit is as advertised, clean, well stocked. All around a great experience for skiing Aspen.
great location. we had a great time. Condo and amenities as advertised except for community hot tub. Subpar- probably 99F, not worth the walk over. Highly advise management augment that setting.
Would definitely book a property managed by ABL again! Super easy to communicate via text, very helpful and knowledgable. Steered us in the right direction every time! Condo is in a convenient location at the Base Village to skiing, the bus station and restaurants. We utilized the Bodega often but Clark’s market is a short walk away as well. Condo fit our family well- 2 adults, 15 year old, 16 year old and 19 year old. Condo had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property and ABL Management!
This condo was beautiful, had a beautiful view, had comfortable beds and bedding, and everything we needed. I would have given a 5 overall rating if we had been able to enjoy the hot tubs.
I gave an overall rating of 4 because the hot tubs were only at a comfortable temperature to enjoy 1 out of our 7 nights there. This was disappointing because we usually like to enjoy the hot tub every night during our ski vacation and this was one of the main items we look for when searching for accommodations. I wanted to mention this here because if I was the owner of this beautiful property and it could affect the future rental, I would want to know. We were told that the responsibility of the hot tubs was Capitol Peaks and not the rental company. I hope they get this figured out for future renters.
My family of 5 had a wonderful time during our ski vacation at Doug’s lovely home. An easy walk out_the_door to the gondola/shops/restaurants/gym/hot tubs/ice skating/ice cream. Ski in/ski out at its finest. Games & puzzles for relaxing at night provided.

Excellent location!! Very clean and well maintained. Free parking, good location to village, gondola, restaurants, hot tub, ski locker convenient. The 3rd bedroom is minute and has no insulation in the walls. It was freezing. The concierge brought a room heater, checkin in process is a bit confusing but no problem. My on complaint is the temperature in the 3rd bedroom.
Charlie from the management company did a very good job meeting us and helping with the parking garage. The garage is extremely hard to use. The ramps are narrow--finding your car takes great skill.
The condo feels like a Marriott Residence Inn suite. We had three bedrooms, a kitchen and one common living area. Feels like no one has ever taken the time to actualy live in the unit and therefore it feels completely institutional. For example. When you arrive, there is a long hallway leading into the unit. As someone who will be coming and going in ski boots, this is a logical place for a bench and lots of hooks. But you will find neither. For us, there was so much powder snow, we came back covered in the fantastic light fluffy stuff but left so much of it all over the unit due to the lack of a good spot for leaving our boots.
There is not a single hook for drying ski gear anywhere in the unit. It's like it was set up for urban dwellers living in Manhattan. The unit also lacks a boot dryer or organizer for helmets. You get the point, no ski family of 6 charged with making the unit ideal for a ski experience has ever stayed here for a weekend to make these obvious improvements.
The lighting in the unit is too bright. The LED bulbs are an excellent idea but a simple change of picking a better color for these lights would make the entire unit feel warmer.
The fridge is very hard to keep closed. And although there is an option for a warning bell, it doesn't seem to be working. We had numerous times when the fridge was left open.
The kitchen is poorly laid out with obvious ways to improve this. We created our own trash station at the end of the island because open both doors below the sink to access the trash was a silly spot. Again, just one person from ABL, the management, living as a ski family who is skiing and cooking for a weekend would solve so much of this. We recommend buying a divided metal trash unit for the end of the island--one for recycling and one for trash. We were happy to find that the complex offers recycling. We found it hard to implement that in the kitchen.
There are many other nice touches we found in recent ski condo rentals in Steamboat and Beaver Creek missing here---like adding nightlights in the bathrooms and kitchen. A few nice and updated board games. Maybe some paper books to read.
Overall a nice stay but not a great ski condo.
This was one of the BEST homes we have ever stayed in! It had everything we needed like laundry detergent, bathroom supplies and so much more! So helpful when traveling! The home was exceptionally clean and well organized!
So comfortable! Wonderful amenities and easy access to shops and best skiing ever! But even better than the property was the communications with staff. They were always a message away and so helpful! This place was perfect for our weekend getaway! Place is beautiful, and was in great condition when we arrived. The location is extremely convenient - located right in Snowmass Village and about 100 yards from the gondola. Host Doug was great - responsive and always available. One of our favorite parts was hanging in the two hot tubs you have access to after our long ski days. Highly recommended!

Superior location, right at the base of Snowmass, easily accessible for skiing! The condo was top rate, newly refurbished, super clean with impeccable service! We were greeted by Doug who walked us around and drove with us to the parking garage right next door. He was super helpful, very professional and stayed in contact via text for all of our needs. I'm a very high end traveler 5-6 stars and this met my every criteria! I would highly recommend a stay at this condo!

This Capitol Peak condo is better than advertised. It is modern, well equipped and the location is ideal in the village. Communication from the property management was efficient throughout the process.
The only negative aspect was the proximity to the main road and early morning traffic noise if you're a light sleeper like myself.
This unit was in a great location. It had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean, Management showed you around, from where to park and get back to the unit to where to throw the trash. They were very helpful! We highly recommend this unit.
Property management had amazing communication prior to arrival. They also arranged for transportation from the airport last minute for me. When I arrived, the manager walked me around to show me the place, and surrounding shops (There was lots of new construction since last year). I've stayed at many properties, this place was completely decorated, and had a full kitchen (blender, cookware, cook supplies, ect. The property managers were always a text away. This made it easy for questions about the place or facilities. The owner bought a grill and management installed it on the balcony which made grilling steaks very easy. Two minute walk to the gondola. Being on the first floor was easy to come and go, but had a six story view from the balcony. I will definitely come back.
