About this property
Riverfront Cabin|Fireplace|Fire pit | White Mountains| Hiking
Relax at this beautiful spot located on the Ammonoosuc River. The sound of the river and the views of the mountains are amazing. Enjoy the fire pit with S'mores. Keep an eye out for the bald eagles and local wildlife. This 3 bed 2 1/2 bath (4 bed 3 1/2 if the "Bear Den" is rented see details. Sleeps 8 without the Bear Den) is the perfect space for families and couples and to get away from it all.
The house is located on the river, has a firepit, and is great for families and couples. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths - First floor master has a new California King bed, the second floor has one bedroom with a Queen Bed and another bedroom with two Queen log beds. If the In Law unit "Bear Den" is rented (additional charge) - add an additional new King log bed and a pull out leather queen sofa and full bath making the house a 4 bedrooms 3 1/2 baths. The "Bear Den" is a perfect option for families and couples as it is a true in law unit which is NOT included in the upstair rental. It has a bedroom with a king bed, kitchen, living room, pull out queen leather sofa couch, which sleeps 2, walk out patio, and connects to the upstairs unit. If not rented it is locked off. We NEVER rent out the house to separate groups. The "Bear Den" is a separate unit with its own entrance and has a staircase connecting to the upstair unit. There is Air conditioning in the "Bear Den" but is it rarely needed. The snow mobile trail is across the street and it is a 7-8 min drive to Bretton Woods and a 14 min drive to Cannon.
Located in the White Mountains this neighborhood is quiet and close to all the Bretton Woods, Mt. Washington area has to offer.
The house is directly on the Ammonoosuc River and the snowmobile trail is right across the street. There is plenty of parking enough for snow mobile trailers.
We require a rental agreement to be signed and a security deposit.

This house exceeded all of our expectations! Pictures don't do it justice! It was spacious with plenty of space to move around and kitchen was well equipped. The check-in process was smooth and the instructions left on the coffee table were easy to follow. Will definitely stay here again!
We had a great stay at the riverfront cabin. What a beautiful location and central to everything we wanted to do while there. Well stocked house, clean, and spacious. The outdoor spaces were great as well, we used them all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Had an amazing time staying at the river front cabin! The mountain view is incredible. The cabin is immaculate and the backyard was great. Had a nice fire in the pit overlooking the river. Would 100% stay here again.
Wonderful home. Well equipped kitchen - crock pot, insta pot rolling pin and pie plate. Not all kitchens are so prepared! The water pressure and temp are excellent! But the best part is the location. What a view! We saw a beaver on the river… so peaceful. The fireplace was a delight- The host is very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home- some rentals feel like a rental… this felt like home away from home. Look forward to coming again!
There were 3 couples who stayed at this property. This was kne of 3 that we stayed in on our trip to the Northeast. This was by far all of our favorite. Mark was very easy to work with and the property was exactly as described. We will definitely rent this place again.
This home was absolutely stunning. There is a ton of space inside and out for our family to enjoy our stay here. It's certainly decorated to make you feel right at home. Even before leaving, we had all agreed that we will visit again.
My mom and my stay was fantastic! Mark was an excellent host and made things easy and communicated well. The house and property itself was stunning with amazing views of the surrounding landscape and river. The entire place was clean and well decorated. Would definitely stay there again with more family and friends as it was very spacious, more than enough room for my mom and I for the night, but great place to wake up in.
We had a great stay at Mark’s cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Communication with Mark was 10/10. The location is perfect for exploring the White Mountains. We visited Franconia Notch, Omni Mount Washington, the Cog Railway, several hikes, and UTV rentsls in Gorham. Had lovrly packed lunch from Yaya’s. Would happily stay again.
We had the best time. The house was perfect to accommodate us with our older children and grandkids. Enough space for some privacy but also a spacious common area where we could all be together. The views of the river were gorgeous. So quiet and peaceful. Just about 20 minutes to Santa’s Village. Mark answered all our questions and was a pleasure to deal with. Just a note, the bedroom that says three twins is actually two queens, which made it even better for us! We’ll be back
To summarize in one statement: a serene, beautiful oasis. The atmosphere of the home was well thought out and truly provides a lot towards your stay. We enjoyed the fire place our first night which provided a cozy night in with our dog. Iris, our dog, provides her approval on the backyard, as she was able to get out a few zoomies. We stayed with another couple and didn’t feel like the place was small at all. We’ve already decided to come back again next year but for a longer stay.
The home has an amazing view. We saw a bear crossing the river on our first morning. We enjoyed evenings on the back deck. The owner reached out to ensure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely rent here again.
My best friends have a home in Twin Mountain and I fell in love with this area and here we are. I love skiing, hiking, discovering the rivers, lakes, snowmobiling and this year Summer took up fly fishing.
