Nice place that needs updated cooking supplies

Great location and cute place. My only complaint is the dishes were super dirty and there’s barely enough cooking items to cook a meal. There’s not even a pot large enough to boil spaghetti noodles. But over all it’s a great spot.

Love this location! We have stayed here for years and will definitely do it again! Can’t get much better view of the bay than at the Embarcadero, with their private docs for crabbing and all the private boat slips to watch people come and go! If your wondering about this place, wonder no more! Just do it!!

Great Place

This condo was perfect for our family of 4 and dog. The master bed was comfortable and the pull out couch was easy to set up and put away each morning. I gave it a try and it too was comfortable. Lots of towels and even separate ones for the pool. The pool was great. Lots of windows to make it bright. The view from the deck was unbelievable. Local shops are walkable. It was a great visit!!

I personally would not rent this unit again. There was so much noise above me it was ridiculous. We had a howling dog above us the 2nd half of the vacation and people to slammed up and down the stairs. The couch is disgusting and uncomfortable. The kitchen cookware is the cheapest of cheap and bare minimum so cooking meals was not convenient. Living room gets hot in the mid-afternoon and the unit stays warm until about 2am. Overall an average stay.

Excellent place to stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was very clean and we were close enough to the downtown to be able to walk there. Everything we needed was provided, kitchen supplies, bedding, etc. I do have a few critiques. There isn't any kind of cover on the deck. It was very warm while we were there and almost impossible to sit outside and enjoy the view because of the heat. An umbrella would have been very welcome. The vinyl lattice used on the balcony fence really prevents being able to see the view without bringing out the tall chairs from the kitchen. Maybe plexiglass would be a better option. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Book directly with VACASA, not VRBO to avoid double fees

Had to pay Service Fee to both VRBO and Vacasa so taxes and fees were 50% of the room charge. Billing was done thru both VRBO and Vacasa and amounts didn't even match so VERY confusing! Also confusing on who to contact for questions once we checked in - a message to host thru VRBO was not answered so I called the front desk as per instructions in the room. No one answered the phone there so I went to front desk & was told they were not really the manager but they would try to help us which they did. Listing said unit has cable TV but it didn't seem like it. Some directions on using the remotes would be helpful. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and it was nice to be able to walk to the bay restaurants and shops.

Easy condo close to attractions

Great space located very close to the historic center of Newport. Easy walking to attractions and restaurants, plus a great view of the working harbor. Inside the furniture was great. Nice to have a seating area with 2 comfy chairs and still be able to utilize the sofa bed as an actual bed. Countertop seating for 3 and another dining table made ample space for us to spread out without being cramped. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was plenty big. Parking was easy and we really appreciated the in-house washer and dryer (especially the dryer as the coast can be quite damping humid to dry off towels and clothes). A few cons that didn’t give it 5 stars - which could easily be addressed by the house without spending that much money - Coffee! Coffee should be number one priority. Any hotel/motel in the cheapest place in America will have a basic coffee pot and provide coffee in the room. Or get a Keurig and provide pods. It would have been lovely to drink coffee on the deck in the mornings. The tub did not drain and it was pretty gross. Running just 1 minute of the shower filled the tub an inch. This could be addressed with a housekeeping issue very simple. The back bedroom is HOT. No ventilation or airflow and no ceiling fan to compensate. No AC at the coast is fine, but ventilation and airflow was needed. This was the stuffiest place in the apartment. A simple plug in fan would solve this problem. If you sleep warm, bring a fan!

Needs a little TLC

This could be such a perfect little getaway. I was disappointed it didn't feel clean, like the immaculate pictures advertised. Small improvements and simple upgrades would have made it a much more comfortable stay. Consider bringing your own bedding, coffee and firewood to stay warm.

Great condo!

My family and I really loved the condo. We really felt relaxed and at home. The location is wonderful. Unfortunately the jets in the tub were covered in mold which is the main reason for the four stars. Also. There was no information on how to use the pool or hot tub, there were just a few channels in the bedroom and TV wasn't accessible for Netflix or any other streaming services so the bedroom TV im the bedroom was pretty useless. We read the card asking what to do before check out and it mentioned getting a load of towels started for the house keepers but there was no laundry soap. These are minor things but it's enough to not give a full five stars. And to not have use of the jetted tub due to mold was a big one for us because we have a baby and was definitely counting on the tub being functional and clean for him.

Lovely gem!

Perfect for a couple, a bit tight for 4, but the sofa sleeper was actually comfortable! Great location if you like to walk- close to historic waterfront district and all those barking sea lions! Fun to watch them from above. Very cozy condo.

With a few changes would be a SWEET SPOT! Response by management overall good regarding issues but some confusion re who was responsible for what. Kleenex was not supplied. Not enough toilet paper for our 5-night stay. Only supplied 4 plates somewhat inconvenient. Coffee pot small. Otherwise all was good!
