Surf Haven Unit A w/fire pit walking distance to surfing beaches

Surf Haven Unit A is a 2 bedroom (queen beds), 1 bath beach retreat good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers & families (with kids). In March 2024 we completed a kitchen renovation with new cabinets/counter, new flooring, fresh paint and new lighting, as well as upgraded the living and dining furniture.
The updates have improved the comfort, cleanliness and functionality. And it looks beautiful!
Surf Haven is located about a block from the beach and Otter Rock State Park, this quiet and walk-able neighborhood is great to explore with shops, restaurants, 2 beautiful beaches, The Devils Punch Bowl and an old growth forest all with in a block or two of the cabin. *

Community fire pit & large yard. Inquire about adding additional cabins for groups up to 12.

Quirky Cabin

My sister and I had a good stay at the cabin, right in the middle of the Otter Rock neighborhood. Great location to explore the walkable beaches and tide pools.

Get away weekend

Great location! Cute cabin clean and comfortable. Dogs welcome . Nice covered out door seating and fire pit. Close walk to town and surfing. Would stay again.

Four of us there for one night. Full kitchen, large couch, and the whole place was really clean and comfortable. Proximity to the beach, grocery store, food, Newport, and Depoe Bay was so nice. Would recommend!

Shh, it's a secret! (five stars)

Want to keep this hidden gem a secret so it will always be available but def want the folks who run it to prosper because it's such a great spot. Perfect location, sparkling clean, very comfortable and Heather is so kind and helpful. We will stay here every time we can when we're in the area. :)

Beauitful, quiet location!

We love this area- quiet and a short walk to the devils punchbowl and beautiful beaches. The house is well kept and simple for a perfect weekend getaway. Great value too. Very helpful and communicative host! We’ve stayed twice and I’m sure we will book again in the future!

Our stay was excellent! With quick and easy access to the beach, proximity to so many excellent sites along coast, all in a nice, quiet neighborhood, this place was perfect as both a launching point for our adventures and as a place to unwind at the end of the day. 11/10 would recommend!

Good Value, Nice Location

We enjoyed being a short walk to the beach and not staying in a crowded area. The neighborhood is quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen is only stocked with the basics, so if you are fishing, be sure to bring your foil, baggies, etc.

Clean place, nicely outfitted. Only thing is there were no plastic bags in trash cans, and 2nd outside trash can wasn't there for trash. The one outside was stuffed full.

Everything you need to feel at home!

Location is perfect! A little difficult to find the first time, but Heather provided great instructions on how to find the address and where to park. Very close to Devil's Punchbowl and a safe neighborhood! Had everything you need to feel at home right down to some basic seasonings, coffee grounds and filters. We had a great stay in Surf Haven A! I would stay here again if in the area.

Great location

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Surf Haven. It is a cute little place that perfectly met our needs for our 2-night stay. We loved being within walking distance of two beaches and just down the road from Newport. Because we didn't see an A unit or B unit when we arrived (based on the direction we arrived from), we were a bit confused about which door to use but the owners were very responsive and helped straighten us out right away. Great stay!

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It's a popular surfing destination so the beach may be quite busy but most of the cars drive away at dinner time.

What makes this property unique

Surf Haven is pet friendly with a yard that is perfect for tossing the ball. It is a warm, sunny property when we are graced with blue skies. and we are walking distance to the beach access (both the sandy beach/surf spot to the south as well as to some wonderful tide pools at the beach to the north).
