The Henry House sits on 25 acres of a tranquil setting of meadows and mountains. The original charm of this landmark home is retained for your pleasure in this authentic house our family has rejuvenated. It also features a beautiful open front porch overlooking the Henry Covered Bridge and Walloomsac River.

Perfect!

Our group (including ages 4-to-80+ with two dogs) had a wonderful time at the beautiful Henry House and grounds. Spacious, nice kitchen. Historic but with modern amenities and comfy beds. Owners were responsive and friendly. Loved this stay and hope to be able to do it again in the future. Thanks!

Christmas dinner with gram

Our family was originally from north bennington and we came back to host a Christmas dinner for grandma. Such a beautiful location for our family to meet for the afternoon and spend the day together. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and grounds. Every need was provided for and our hosts were so gracious.

Beautiful house for a family gathering

My family and I stayed at the Henry House to celebrate a birthday and see the fall colors in Vermont. The home and grounds were gorgeous, spacious and clean. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy the historic charm of the home. The fireplace was massive, the bathrooms were updated and all the bedrooms had their own unique aesthetic. We hope to stay at the Henry House again during the holiday season!

Fall getaway

We had a fantastic time. The house was amazing. Even better than the pictures. The house was spotless and was equipped with everything that we needed. Communication with the host was very quick and easy. We would definitely rent this house again

A great combination of casual and elegant

I have driven by the Henry House so many times and had no idea what a gem was hidden behind. We had a great stay. Our hostess was very responsive to our needs. We were gathered for a little family reunion with 12 folks (some local and some staying) and would have been comfortable with more. We got take-out from Spice Root in Williamstown and ate out on the stone patio in front of a fire in the handsome stone fireplace. We had a nice breakfast around the big dining room table. We gathered around the screen in the den for a slide show of long ago family trips. The rooms were spacious and beautiful with lots of bathrooms. We went to the Food Truck Festival, The Clark Museum and Berle Farm's store and wished we had time for more. No complaints and highly recommend!
