***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival. On departure, we ask that you take out the trash and begin a load of towels in the laundry, and we require that you not leave any dirty dishes/pots & pans. A fee of up to $200 may be charged for dirty dishes/pots & pans.***

We were delighted with our stay at Solitude I - we had two couples, and two elderly moms with us, so finding a ranch-style home was important. The house was clean, and the two living room setup was fantastic - some folks would migrate to the TV room, and others would stay in the cosy living room with a book and the fireplace.The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the views were peaceful.For those looking for a place with disability accommodations, the master bathroom has a low-threshold shower; however, the only grab bar is at the back of the shower, making it out of reach when entering or exiting the shower.We will absolutely consider renting this home again - very nice!

Great Family reunion

My family was here for my daughter's wedding and stayed a few extra days to wine taste. The house was clean and comfortable for our family of 7. I loved waking up and having coffee on the front patio overlooking the valley. Great location for exploring Paso. We'd definitely come back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Choose this property specifically for the location as it is just down the road from my daughter. We needed a house with a large kitchen and multiple rooms. The half bath came in handy. We would have loved to have been able to sit out front and enjoyed the fountain along with the vineyard view. It must be down for repairs. There were a couple of items that did not work properly but they did not interrupt our stay. There is a nice winery less than 3 miles down the road that I suggest you give a try.

Great space - needs some maintenance

We’ve stayed at this property previously. The space is fantastic for a larger group. We did notice this time that the property could use some maintenance. Nothing that impacts your enjoyment of the property but there are broken tiles and lots of drywall marks that detract from the overall appearance.

Five stars BUT a few improvements needed

The property is huge and has a great view! We did enjoy our time! However, there are a few improvements needed: beds can be more comfortable (can feel the springs in the mattress when laying down); outlets are loose so charging phones are difficult; there are no lighting outside so if you get to the property at night, it is a little difficult.

Large, Well-Maintained and Beautiful Home

We had 7 people in our party and we were very comfortable. There is a very large dinner table and plenty of room for more people to sit, socialize and watch TV. The kitchen is plenty large and we cooked a couple dinners there using the available cookware. Overall, we would definitely return.

Amazing experience

The pictures on line do not do the place Justice. I booked as my son Graduated from Cal Poly Slo this weekend and wanted family to stay in one location. We loved it. Everything worked perfectly and we enjoyed barbecuing as the home was so spacious and welcoming that we wanted to spend as much time as possible on site. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Thank you… We loved it.

We had a great weekend wine tasting nearby and then coming back to cook a great dinner in the well appointed kitchen. It was especially nice that the dining room table was so large. Additionally, there are two large sitting rooms so we could spread out easily.
