The place was amazing! Just as listed, the hosts are responsive and very nice. We loved the scenery and the sweet farm animals as well. It was a perfect place for our few days in the area. Close to so many great places!
Had a wonderful time in Paso. The house was neat and well equipped. We had so much fun with the bocce, fire pit and feeding radishes to the adorable animals.
Loved our stay. Great location. The farm vista was extraordinary. Home was comfortable and the bed was high quality. We also really enjoyed the large couch and the outdoor spaces nestled in with chickens, goats, sheep, the highland cow, and grapevines!
We very much ennpyed our stay on the farm! The home is spacious, clean, a well-stocked kitchen and fresh laid eggs a bonus! Air conditioning worked fine but was not needed. Open windows provided cool air in tje evenings & mornings. The hosts communicated with us when needed We enjoyed talking with Eric about the farm. The animals, especially McFluff, made for special sunrise photos.
Eric and Kristen‘s cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway! Although we were there for an art fair, and not actually enjoying the surrounding area, the cottage had everything that we need to be comfortable for our stay. We did not use the kitchen, but it did seem to be fully stocked with everything that was necessary, including three means of making your morning coffee! We loved the surrounding area, being able to wake up every morning and seeing the chickens and the goats and the Highland cow and the sheep was so wonderful! You couldn’t have asked for a better place to just relax and enjoy. If only the weather had been a little bit nicer for us, we would’ve been able to enjoy the facilities even more. Thank you so much Eric and Kristin. It was really nice meeting you Eric, and hopefully we will get to stay with you again in the future!
The home was in a convenient country but residential community that offered plenty of peace and quiet. With a few farm animals nearby, it had a charming relaxing atmosphere. We truly enjoyed the quaint surroundings and the easy access to local amenities.
Property was beautiful. House cute and cozy.clean.According to the description, I misread that the one bedroom had trundle beds. I assumed that 2 bedrooms meant. 1 was a king and the other a queen. So due my haphazard look at the site we ended in a room with not twin beds but TRUNDLE beds, the bottom bed was horrendously flat and hard…
The home was warm and welcoming. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful with the vineyard with 2 sheep roaming around behind the vines, a chicken coop, miniature cow and goats. All the animals were so excited it see the visitors. We will definitely coming back to stay soon.
Very comfortable, homey place to stay while wine tasting in Paso Robles area. Host was very responsive to requests. Well appointed kitchen with lots of dishes. Loved watching the goats, cow and sheep in the am. Safe neighborhood
What a lovely place. The "downside" was we stayed during an extended rainy time. The UPSIDE was it was a pleasant spot to be "trapped" in: room for the puzzle on the table, good internet connection, farm animals providing entertainment, kitchen had ample silverware, plates etc., the roads (during cloud breaks) were nice to walk on. We loved it. Our dog loved it. We were trying to find a place to escape the booms/noise of New Years' Eve and . . . we did!!
We've stayed at this property several times and love the location and views. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice little house in the Paso area.
We really enjoyed our stay! It is a beautiful location - with vineyards all around the area. Great location for taking walks/runs - with a 2 mile loop to see all the stunning surrounding countryside and vineyards. We hope to be back to stay again soon!
Eric and Kristin have a wonderful property in a great location and they do an excellent job of making it feel like home! They are easy to communicate with and were quick to respond to any questions. They also have curious, friendly goats that love attention and having their heads scratched! We'll be back!
My husband and I enjoyed every minute we spent in this guest house. The views of rolling Oak-covered hills, small vineyard, barns with farm animals was just the perfect setting for visiting the wine country. The hosts were just lovely, making us feel that every detail of our stay was attended to. We hated to leave!
