It is a great location for all events, with plenty of parking and away from the busy lake area. Sleeps 16 guests: 1) main level queen w/futon, lower level) Two bunks with four twins, s 3) upper King w/futon, 4) queen w/futon, 5) queen w/futon. Large kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances and all the utilities for cooking excellent meals. Gas grill on the large patio area. This location has 2 fireplaces, 2 Wi-Fi TVs, fast Wi-Fi, games, water toys, and plenty of space for large groups. The main level has a large full bathroom, and the upper two levels each have large full bathrooms. The lower level has a large full bathroom. Guests can walk down to the dock or drive; there is plenty of parking. We have a lily pad, noodles, and a water slide for your enjoyment. The boat slip is 12x24, a lovely cove area for your safety.

Fantastic family time

We had a wonderful family get together over the holiday at this fun and unique home. It was such a cozy, inviting nest for us all to enjoy time together.

Ozarks family reunion

We had a great time at this rental! Easy walk down to the dock and fun swim toys were available. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen could use a rolling pin and some matches or a lighter. But the location was great—both for swimming off the dock and how close it is to bag bagnell dam.

Not Clean, Mold & Mildew

This is a really cool vintage lake house that has a great property and lots of space. However... Property manager did not respond to messages. We had to clean the grill to use it; grease trap was rancid and overflowing. Showers have mold/mildew. Pillows and bedding were stained. The deck, yard, view and location were great...just needs to be cleaned well

Perfect place for us

This house was perfect for our size group (16). Room for 5 families and with the extra futons in 4 of the bedrooms, were perfect to sleep families with children. Four bathrooms was such a plus! Having several living areas was ideal for family fun as we could separate for different types of activities. Adequate space for family dining. Lots of board games are available in the house. Kitchen had everything we needed. Short walk to the dock as well as a short walk to the Bagnell Dam Strip. (I read reviews where there was criticism about the walk to the dock but it took less than 5 minutes to walk at a slow pace with a 4- yr old granddaughter in tow). We went the week after Christmas, area was quiet and very relaxing. Manager was very responsive to our questions by messaging and phone call. The rooms are cleverly decorated and goes beyond just simple necessities in decor. I was pleased with our lodging and would come back to stay again.

We came for a reunion with friends for my husband's 50th bday and everyone had a wonderful time. The deck is huge and was a wonderful place with amazing views to hang out.

Fantastic!

This place is unreal! It's so spacious, our family of six was able to spread out without a problem. There's no such thing as a small room... All rooms, including bathrooms, could have been made for people with claustrophobia, there's so much room. The grounds are beautiful, and the dock really is a short walk away. We can't say enough good things! The only negative for us was the beds, they're a little too hard. But the stocked kitchen had everything we needed to cook and then some, the living room and deck were used often, and the views spectacular! Thank you for having this wonderful house for rent. Here's to it being available next year!

Sibling reunion

The house was very nice and we liked the location. Easy access and plenty of room to park. There were 11 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. We are all over the age of 60 with one handicapped person. When I looked at the house online I could see the main floor had an open floor plan so I contacted the host and specifically asked if the bedroom and bath were wheelchair accessible. I Was assured by the host that they were. Unfortunately, when we got there they were NOT. The wheelchair would not go through the bathroom doorway. The house is not listed as handicap accessible but the main floor layout is very open thus the reason for contacting the host prior to renting to see if the bathroom and bedroom was open also. I contacted the host regarding this and her solution was for one of us to lift and carry him. That was not an option. Kitchen was very nice but not as clean or organized as it could have been. Overall we had a great time being together just disappointed that we had been mislead.

the trip was excellent

Property was very clean and lots of room. I think VRBO should provide the door code. The owner left the door unlocked so my group was able to get in. I made several calls on this matter.

Great for large families

Overall had a great time. Was disappointed that the dock wasn’t close and that we couldn’t see the lake but for 12+ people it was super roomy. We all loved how close the house was to the damn/strip. Walked there every evening. Only real complaint would be that the basement smelled pretty bad and again you have to walk or drive to the dock. PS - Cove was super calm!
