We've rented this house twice now and it was just a good the second time. Clean very clean and close to the Whitecap lodge. Looking forward to booking next year.
We had a great time at this condo. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook all the meals we planned. There is a convenient shuttle that takes you to the resort. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. Overall a nice stay
We had a great time! Erik’s cabin is clean, cute, and cozy! We did some hiking, went to Bayfield for a day, and saw some amazing views! Thank you Erik!
We've stayed at this house twice. Super bummed that Whitecap took out the tow rope. We took off our skis and walked up the hill to the bridge. Not very easy with little ones but so be it. This time we checked out Corrigans Outlook which was cool.

Winter
It’s not ski in/ski out . Short walk to hill. Place was very dusty and there was a leak on one wall. Upstairs toilet runs after flushing
We really enjoyed our time at Whitecap and Twin Peaks. Twin Peaks was very clean and had great sleeping accommodations. We had more than enough sleeping room for our family of 6. The remodel is beautiful, very modern and utilizes space very well.
Everything we needed for our stay was there already including towels, paper towel, toilet paper and even coffee filters and coffee. The owner/host was amazing and we were lucky enough to spend time with him and his family/friends who were staying in the other side of Twin Peaks during our stay. He even made us a delicious dinner one of the nights with his campfire grill that is mounted on a gorgeous deck campfire area. We will definitely be back to Whitecap and will stay at Twin Peaks again!

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay, Mark. Thank you for the kind words and please come back soon!
The place is very nice. Easy access to Whitecap Mountains. The kitchen is tiny, even smaller than it appears in the photos. The kitchen also did not have a medium or large pot to boil some noodles or to heat up soup. That would have been super helpful. The upstairs loft could use some shelving to place luggage. Lighting in the main area and the loft could be increased. It was difficult to see the board game we were playing on the table and chairs in the evening. Overall a nice place.

We appreciate your honesty, Becky! We are always looking for ways to improve and will take note of your suggestions for future renters. We do hope you'll consider us again for any future trips!
Neat home, if you like Ikea you will like this place. It is very clean, very organized and very compact. The WiFi worked well, communication with the property manager was great. The fireplace has a grilling attachment that worked surprisingly well! Just a few things to be aware of: the TV package is kind of weird - tons of very obscure channels but no local channels. Also there are very few 'extra' supplies, like aluminum foil, seasonings, etc. so bring them with you - it's a long drive to the nearest grocery store.
The property is exactly as described. Communication was great ahead of arrival. It was great that they had things like firewood and coffee for guests to use. We took a trip with 6 adults and 4 kids. We didn't have any issues at all. Fridge is small so I recommend bringing coolers if you plan on bringing much food. The only downside for skiing is that the bridge is not really ski in ski out. It could be used for ski in, but while we were there the snow was too deep. It was easy though to just take a car the 30 seconds to the lodge area and ski from there. Great property.

Great single family location, minimal WiFi
Clean and updated place that can sleep 8-10 after days out and about. Great bathrooms. Tiny kitchen.
If looking to hang out in the VRBO, the common spaces are very minimal, and the Wifi bandwidth can only handle a single device intermittently.
Short walk with boots on to skiing (although it doesn't always snow until mid-January).
Steep hill can be dicey in the winter.
Tip for your stay: Do not clothes downstairs bedroom doors since no heat gets to hallway thermostat and rooms become a sauna. And move living space couch away from wall off the heater to get even heat throughout.

Cancelled Text Unreceived
The house was beautiful, but there was a plumbing issue. We arrived at 11:30PM. After a few showered water and sewage backed up in the basement. Finally spoke with someone at 1:00 AM. "How did you get in the house?" Sent a text that morning to cancel. Cell service is extremely spotty in the area. We didn't receive the text until the next day. They should have called and/or received a reply to assure we were notified. The code let us in the house. At 2:30 AM we were able to check into a hotel 30 minutes away.
A great time was had by all and enough room for our party of 10. There is a bit of a hill to the condo and we arrived in a bit of a snowstorm. Our van could not get up the hill.....but luckly some of the party had 4 wheel drive.
Plenty of room for sleeping....but table only sat 4 people. Some extra stools would be nice. They could be stored in the area next to loft stairs. Even one other couch table would be great. Otherwise.....it had everything we needed including a bridge that leads to the ski hill and chalet. Great time. Thank you.!! We will be back.......unless we add more family to our weekend.
