Great communication with the host and the location and property were fantastic. The kitchen has every gadget you could imagine, the fireplace was great after a day on the slopes along with the sauna, and access was super easy. We plan to visit again.

Thank you for staying at Mountain Meadow #6! We are glad you got to enjoy the fireplace and sauna to warm up after a day on the slopes!
Thank you for the 10/10 rating! We stive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It's a bonus that the ATV and snowmobile trails are so close to the condo at Mountain Meadows!
Ski slopes were right off the deck. A lot of comfy beds for a big group. We enjoyed the fireplace, sauna and large dining room table for a group. The ski hill had a lot of different runs for all levels. We enjoyed our stay!

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
Place was clean and comfortable. we were a group of 4 couples. Was quiet when we were there. Would stay here again. Host was very friendly and helpful.
Condo was perfect. Mountain side with view of lake. Able to ski right out the back door to first lift. Everything was as described, clean, and in working order. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary gear. There are several thermostats and firewood was ready. Good communication from the owner. Thanks for a great stay.

Thank you for your positive review! I am so glad the accommodations fit your needs. Please tell your friends about us and come back again sometime.
Was clean and slept 10 of us comfortably. Only thing we weren't aware of was there were alot of steps that I don't remember seeing in the pics. But would stay there again. Always responded right away when I had questions.

I have not updated the photos on VRBO since I listed the unit and the photos clearly shows a staircase down to the 3BRs/2BA, a staircase up to the main living area, and a staircase up to the loft bedroom. I also describe the layout in the description of the unit. Please don't review things negatively that are clearly shown and described. Thank you.
About the host
Hosted by Chris Brown
We are an avid ski/snowboard family who love the U.P. area. Originally we were looking for a place near Big Powderhorn, then that switched to Lutsen, and when we saw this place, we knew it was it. We've made some nice upgrades to the unit, including finishing the fireplace stonework, which turned out beautiful.
Why they chose this property
We love the area. It's not commercialized in any way, and there are multiple things to do nearby. We chose this place mostly for the Winter fun. We love the ski hill right out the back door. The main lift is just below the condo, Bunny Hill and magic carpet. Whitecap Mountain is definitely one of the best in the Midwest for skiing and boarding. We also like the option to ski and snowboard at Big Powderhorn and Snow River resorts in nearby Upper Michigan while staying here. We have found the rental units near Big Powderhorn are not as affordable as renting and commuting from elsewhere. Even rentals in the "Powderhorn Village" are not really walkable to the hill, because you end up driving to the parking lot anyway. We plan to snowboard Whitecap, but also take in those other resorts since we all have the Indy Pass.
We also chose this place because there is so much to do year round! There's hiking, fishing, bike riding, kayaking, and swimming opportunities. The ATV/snowmobile trails are right out the door and there are over 150 waterfalls across the Western Upper Peninsula area to explore. As a bonus, Weber Lake is close and within walking distance. We do not provide lake items, but there is a beach and a landing to enjoy. We also love to walk around the neighborhood to see all the unique houses or cabins nearby.
Mountain Meadows Condo # 6 is a great place to gather with friends and family. The wood burning fireplace makes it such a cozy place to snuggle up and watch TV, read a book, do a puzzle or play a game. There are great views off the deck where we love to sit and a fire pit at night to tell stories and roast S'mores. There is also room for our grandkids to run and play where we can see them in front of the deck. We love it here and we hope you do, too!
What makes this property unique
It's fairly large being 4BR and 3BA, and the private sauna is wonderful. It's not your typical "Sleeps 12" and uses every nook and cranny for bedroom space. With three floors and multiple levels in the 1700SF condo, you have room to roam. It is a great place for small or large groups with its nice and cozy feel.
