Peaceful Getaway in Scenic, Private, Gated Community

Bright, beautiful house in private gated Big Bass Lake Community in Poconos. Only 2hrs from NYC, under 1.5hrs from NJ. 30 minutes from Ski Slopes.

Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, 1650 sq feet, large basement, move-in ready. First floor has open high ceiling living room with lots of natural light from skylights, open floor dining room and kitchen with stainless steel appliances, 2 bedrooms with big bathroom. One bedroom has three twin sz beds, Second bathroom has two twin beds and a crib. Second floor has the loft, master bedroom and a bathroom. There is a large front and side deck with BBQ grill.

15 min walking distance to the Larson lake, playground, basketball and tennis courts.

Community has indoor and outdoor heated pools, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, clubhouse with ping pong tables, video games and different activities (bingo, talent shows, ceramics, etc). There are swim and tennis lessons available in the summers. House available for short and long term rentals. North Poconos School District is under in-person and/or hybrid model with remote option available.

No TV's connected to cable/internet but Very quiet and relaxing

We had a great week at this property. We saw wildlife and was able to bring our 2 dogs. The community was very nice to us. The only bad thing I have to say is that the TV's are not connected to cable or the internet. The remote control for the living room TV was lost and we were unable to work it from the on and off switch. We were able to use my son's 8" tablet to watch movies as a family after letting the host know it was not there. It would have been nicer to have seen the movies on the bigger screen and also to watch the local news station. Otherwise, this was a great vacation!
