Location Location Location

Always good to stay in Gold Bend (free shuttle to the hill!). Condo was clean and had everything we needed to have an easy stay.

Great Stay

Everything was as described and we had an amazing weekend. The property management was very quick to answer any questions we had. Our favorite part was the free shuttle that drops you off at the village.

Great Place!

We like the place (we stayed here last year as well). This is the about the 12th year in a row we have stayed in Tahoe). Everything was clean. Great WiFi. Quiet place with great view. We liked the keyless entry (except for them disabling it early — we paid for late checkout and couldn’t get back in prior to check out time). Comfortable bed in master bedroom!

Good weekend getaway

Stayed there during the MLK weekend holiday. Bedrooms downstairs are cold but blankets are plenty. We had a couple issues with the dishwasher and TV. Location in the Northstar region is pretty perfect. Overall, it's good for a weekend but I wouldn't want to stay there much longer.

Not great, not horrible

Great location but somewhat frustrating. No information on how to operate TV remotes, very confusing,,no cable hook up for bedroom TV. No information pamphlet on how to access bus shuttle to village no Information on village restaurants, things to do, ski office and rental hours would have been helpful. Overall ok.

Cute and Cozy

The condo was clean, cute, cozy, small bathrooms and cold downstairs. It did the job. My issue is with Vacasa's new check-in policy where you have to upload your driver's license AND a selfie before you are allowed to check-in. I did not know this when I made the reservation and they took my money with no refunds allowed. We stayed at another Vacasa house in Northstar just two months prior and such a policy did not exist. It makes me feel like a criminal!! We just sold our Northstar house 6 months ago and it was a VRBO rental for 10 years so I know the vacation rental business. I would never do this to a renter. Thus, we will not be renting from Vacasa rentals in the future.

Great location, terrible appliances

The kitchen appliances were really old and terrible. The dishwasher was broken so got to "enjoy" hand washing for the entire week. The fridge was probably from the 70s and leaked water into our food (until I figured out the leak location and placed a bowl under it). The coffee maker lasted for two days and then stopped working. The bedroom had a TV but it wasn't connected to anything! The living room TV had the least responsive remote control I've ever experienced. Apart from these issues, the cabin was clean and cozy and we enjoyed our stay and had a nice vacation. But definitely overpriced for the condition it is in.

Good, But Needs Improvements

Stayed here four days for Thanksgiving 2022. Pros: 1) Good location with convenient shuttle to village. 2) Spacious layout with bedrooms downstairs. 3) Gas fireplace is quick, easy & very cozy. 4) Dog friendly. Cons: 1) Dishwasher did not work. We had Thanksgiving dinner & then no dishwasher to help with big cleanup. 2) Sink in smallest bathroom would not drain. 3) Internet (wireless network) info. provided was not correct. Had to use an unsecured network for Black Friday shopping. 4) TV has no cable connection, it uses streaming services only (via wireless network). The Vizio interface is difficult to navigate. You need to know your services (i.e. Netflix) username & password. We had to watch a couple important football games on small iPad. 5) The two bedrooms downstairs are very cold most of the time. To get them warm means the upstairs living room is hot.

Very nice!!

Very clean. Beds are excellent. Flooring throughout was high quality, which may not seem important, but makes a huge difference. We’ve stayed in similar models with dreadful carpeting. Kitchen had everything you need. We stay in north star often and will take note of this particular unit for future visits.

Blissful stay

Cozy condo in a great location near Northstar village. Bedrooms/ /bathrooms are downstairs and living/kitchen is upstairs. Heat rises so it can get a little chilly in the winter downstairs. Condo has plenty of extra blankets. The two balconies provided beautiful views into the forested bed of snow. The condo isn’t fancy but has everything you need. Had a wonderful stay, very quiet and clean. Good space for 3-4 people.

Great location and Condo_ Cleaning concerns though

The condo itself was great. My only worry was regarding the housekeeping. There were dirty plates, forks and knives put away. The cups were not clean and there was very limited kitchen supplies. Other than that, the condo is very comfortable and in a great location.

Very clean, nice condo in Northstar resort

We had a great stay. The Northstar shuttle was very quick and convenient. The condo was clean, needs comfortable, etc. The only complaint is the heating is a bit uneven. When it was warm and toasty upstairs it was freezing downstairs so to get it warm downstairs we had to make it crazy hot upstairs. But it worked and overall we were really comfortable. Would recommend.
