The water is a slow sloping grade on the Oklahoma side of the lake. Get ready to enjoy your stay. If you bring a pontoon boat, it can be beached close. The community boat launch is just to the east. Bring your golf cart and drive down to the water or over to the boat ramp in this golf cart friendly community. Buncombe creek marina is about 10 minutes away if you need a day slip. Our property was made for enjoying your lake stay. It offers durable concrete floors and a simple design to bring friends and family together for a great weekend on Lake Texoma. Enjoy getting out of the city for week or a weekend!

Family Retreat Fun

The property was great! Plenty of bathrooms for the bedrooms. We didn't get to use it because of rainy weather, but the back patio is really nice. Sarah was very quick at responding to our requests! The only complaint we had from our family was the mattresses weren't very comfortable.

Great house and location

This house was perfect for a week long family vacation. The concrete floors took the stress out of traveling with dogs and tracking sand in from the lake. It was 100+ degrees all week, so the gameroom (pole and ping pong) was a huge plus when we weren't on the boat or in the water. We found a great little place to swim and hangout by the lake a couple blocks from the house and there is a community boat launch right up the road. All-in-all, a large, clean, fun, dog-friendly house that provided wonderful memories.

Get house for a bunch of friends and or family!

Came to lake texoma for my husbands birthday with our kids and 5 other families! The house has a great simple layout! Lots to do! Beach/lake in walking distance! Only draw back was bed mattresses definitely need replacing. They were not comfortable for most of the guests. Would rebook for sure!

Family of 12 for Christmas

Our family always has to stay in 2 houses when we're together. Rented this big lake house and it was perfect. 2 bedrooms for families with kids, private and shared a bathroom. Other 2 bedrooms with bathrooms also. Slept our 12, had game room, fire place, Christmas decor, beautiful kitchen, washer and dryer, and dog friendly. Had a wonderful Christmas weekend. Thanks to management.

A Trip we will never forget!

It was the perfect size for our group of 19. We were celebrating a “One last Family Vacation” of the youngest girl in our family before she got married. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and kitchen necessities Loved that there was a washer and dryer! The game room was a perfect amenity for our occasion The host responded promptly when I messaged her. The only thing was I thought the property was much bigger from what the picture showed. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place!

Great fun!!

Loved being close to lake! Rainey day on Saturday but beautiful on Sunday! We couldnt get the fireplace to work! Which would have been nice on Sunday! But the kids had lots to do! You guys need to I.nvest in some. New mattresses a coffee pot and a toaster! Other than that wonderful time getting together for belated thanksgiving

Hi, Sherry! Thanks for the feedback. I am glad you all enjoyed your time! The fireplace was working last I knew. We've checked it out since seeing this review and are working to take care of it. So sorry! There is a regular coffee pot at the house, we could consider a Keurig machine as well. There is a 2-slot toaster. We could consider a 4-slot. I have told the owner about the mattresses. Hopefully they will be able to update those soon. It's funny about that, some people seem fine with the and others don't. We need something everyone can enjoy. :) I hope you will stay with us at any of our Book Texoma properties again in the future. :) If there are any issues in the future, please let me know during your stay so I can try to take care of it right away. I'll be back :)

I'm a youth pastor, and we did a much-needed youth retreat at this house with my kids. We stayed for 5 days, and every single day, Sarah was checking up on us. She was so attentive and caring about our stay, and I really appreciated it. The house was awesome and perfect for what we needed. Everything was so clean! The property itself was beautiful and only a short, shady walk to the lake itself. We loved everything about our stay, and although I don't know if we'll be able to do something like this again anytime soon, we will definitely be coming back to this place if we do. Thanks so much!!

Weekend Trip with Friends

We absolutely loved our stay! The living room was bigger than it looked in the pictures, the rooms had plenty of space and we thought the cabinets instead of closets was perfect. The beds all being king or queen was fantastic for our group! We usually plan get aways with 12-16 adults and twin sized beds just aren't great for that. The kitchen was spacious for cooking meals for a big group throughout the weekend. We walked down to the lake a few times and it was very clean and beautiful and not over crowded even for spring break time. Commication with the property manager was easy and they were very nice and helpful! Will absolutely keep this property on our short list to come back to and keep their other properties in mind when we are looking again! Highly recommend :)
