Hanalei boasts excellent restaurants, casual shopping, and a menu of activities from kayaking the Hanalei River, nearby snorkeling, hiking, horseback riding, surfing, and much more. World-class golf at Princeville's Makai Course is less than a ten minute drive away. Hanalei is the perfect vacation spot for
families or couples wanting to get away from it all. There are no hotels, no condos, and no traffic lights.

The Simpson House is located just off the beach in Hanalei. It is a Non-Smoking, five bedroom, three bath, well appointed, craftsman-style, family home with waterfall views from all angles. Its spacious master suite includes a soaking tub and Bamboo floors. Two week minimum for Christmas holidays. 10 person max.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and had a beautiful view of the mountains and waterfalls. We loved that it was so close to town and also a short walk to the beach. The house was great and the location was incredible. A quick walk to the beach and into town. The house had chairs, an umbrella, and a wagon for easy transport to the beach. The outside shower was very useful to clean up and keep sand out of the house.

Family Vacation

The house was lovely with lots of character. The location enabled us to make a fairly quick walk to the beach and an even quicker walk to town. We enjoyed the covered porch and the big yard. We did struggle a bit with no ac especially in the afternoon, but that’s nobody’s fault-we knew it going in, and it did cool down at night. We had a great stay.

The house is in an excellent location in beautiful Hanalei, and is stunning itself. It was perfect for our large family group of nine people. Super close to the beach and shops. A great getaway for a family who can't often get together

The home was just as described with beds for everyone and lots of space for hanging out. The beach gear provided by the host was very good and we put it to good use. The beach was close and easy to get to and the teenagers enjoyed how close it was to town. We cooked in most of the time and took food to the beach for lunches. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this place.

Fun on the North Shore

This is a wonderful property in Hanalei. Easy walking distance to both the beach, and "town." The private yard area is awesome, and the house is well stocked with towels, beach gear, and all the things you need to cook and socialize - even two different grills!The only downside is that this property is located on the main road. Since the house does not have AC (which I prefer), you need to keep your windows open, and acccordingly, you will have road noise. This really didn't bother us (it's not a freeway), but it might bother others - so be aware.

This was one of our favorite places to stay in Hanalei. The walk to the beach was short and easy, and the walk to town even more so. Beautiful Hanalei Retreat

What a special place. Loved our stay here in Hanalei at the Wailele Ikena house. We celebrated my moms 80th birthday together with family and made memories that will last a lifetime. Hilary was always helpful and quick to respond to us for any of our needs or questions. The location of the house is great we walked to the bay and rode bikes to the pier. Definitely looking forward to coming back again someday soon.
