Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Most of our time there was spent in the evenings. The sofas were comfy.Would have liked a toaster and an ice maker. There was a bag of ice (opened) in the freezer. There was everything needed for coffee which we really appreciated and knowing there was a Keurig, we brought our own coffee. :) Would definitely stay there again.
The house was beautiful and very clean! The beds were amazingly comfortable to sleep in. We had the whole upstairs apartment which was absolutely huge, plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves. We will be booking with White House Lodge everytime we come back to Missouri. Thank You for the wonderful experience and Hospitality!

This classic house was beautifully fixed up (mostly); the bathroom was lovely. The Expedia/VRBO listing was misleading: no sofa bed in LR. Also, we checked in at 4:00 as instructed, but the office closes 3:30--no response to our concerns until the next day. That's a BIG problem. Bugs and dirt under the kitchen sink; no hot pads in kitchen, missing light bulbs from lamps. Did not feel secure, with the only lockable door the front one--leading to other rooms too.
