Lovely and well furnished condo that actually was able to seat my entire family of 6, not only at the table but in the living room as well. The indoor pool was great and we were able to still play in the waves although it was October.

We enjoyed our stay in this property, enough space for a family of 9, very neat, we had only one issue, but the management team was incredible helpful, communication was amazingly fast. Great location for relaxing

It was not crowded when we were there, yet everything in the room and the grounds including pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The only draw back was the lazy river innertubes; there were only 3 total. There are usually about a dozen of them. This meant that really only one family at a time could use them. Also had another family try to enter the room on our last night. Not sure how they gave someone else access at the same time we were there. That should be stricly controlled as it is a security issue. Everything else was great!!

I had got bit by bedbugs

Got bit by bit bed bugs talked to property manager candy over the phone she said they sent out two exterminators and there was no sign of a bedbug . I have proof where one bed bug but me and found another one crawling beside me I squished it in a paper towel gave it to the office and also have pictures of bites I really wasn’t concerned about the refund if anything I was concerned about the next person who stayed at the residence!

Room was not ready

The condo was spacious but was not ready at check in time. The cleaning crew was still in there when we tried to check in at 4:20 and we stood outside the room, in the hallway, waiting to get in until 4:50. The floors were soaked and walking on them made them dirty. We had to try and clean them up with a towel. It was a very cold day with high winds. The outdoor pool is not heated and the indoor pool was not open due to it leaking.

The carpet need to be pulled up through out the unit. The king mattress was pissed up. The house was so dusty! I started sneezing and itching(I’m allergic to dust).It took quite some time to get this unit clean and dusted. The TVs don’t have Netflix on it to watch movies like most units. Bed lining was dirty and was told we had to wait until the next day for lining. My family and I went to Walmart and brought pillows, mattress protectors, sheets and blankets. While cleaning we killed a roach in the kitchen. I will never recommend anyone to the unit.

Needs attention to detail

Let me preface this by saying I have no desire to impact a time’s livelihood . . . But I do travel fairly regularly with my family and I am willing to pay a premium for a nice room for our family of 7. This resort and room was not that. The room itself was not clean. We personally wiped every fan down due to excessive dust. The sheets in the master had makeup (we hope, it was red) all over it. The dryer was actually broken hitch we did not discover until day 2. It was fixed by day 3 but I had to go to the laundromat and spend over 20 bucks not anticipating this. I was not able to clean the floor and housekeeping didn’t have the right mop. Also, pool in 5th floor was not functioning. I picked this property for amenities and not being notified about the pool is an issue. The property overall was just not clean. One elevator was out, we were on the 12th floor. I really hate to leave negative reviews but I’m hoping that the owner or management company will take this seriously and perhaps revisit how cleaning is happening or who is maintaining the property. I spent nearly 2000 dollars which is way too much (and there are too many options in Myrtle ) to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Bahama Sands. The only concerns we had we that the kitchen floors and bathroom needed to be cleaned better but the rest of the place was very good. Having the office across the street was a little inconvenient and not being able to use the lower two levels of the parking deck made things a little more difficult. but other than these things we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely use Bahama Sands again.

Enjoyed the complex

We loved that this complex is right on the beach and also has a pool. The location is great - close to dining, activities and shopping. This unit needs some attention to the mildew all over the ceiling. You can smell it when you enter the unit. We had maintenance spray it, which helped for about a day and a half, but then the smell came back. Other than that, the unit is nice - furnished well and had most of what we needed in the kitchen. We had four people in the unit and had lots of room. The balcony is large and nicely furnished. Things to remember to bring include beach towels, laundry detergent and garbage bags. No maid service because of Covid. If you need new bath towels, you have to go to the office across the street. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.
