We loved the gorgeous Superior view from the enclosed porch and greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the house! After two recent deaths in our family, this vacation was just what we needed.

Overall a great place to stay. Unfortunately we got simmers itch the first couple days. The house is nicely decorated, the screened porch is amazing
A Lakefront home situated on beautiful and ever changing Lake Superior. All appliances were very functional and helpful. The kitchen is well supplied with equipment. I love to cook!!It was a calming and magnificent experience for our stay.I am an Artist and gathered much information of the beauty of nature, with many ideas to capture in my mixed media art
We had the best long weekend here. It has everything you need for a relaxing northern Michigan weekend. We slept on the beach, kayaked, puzzled, had a bonfire, etc. It’s a great place to stay and have fun.
Stayed here for a long weekend with my girlfriends and had a lovely time. The beach was beautiful and the house was exactly what we needed. It has a decently stocked kitchen and comfortable beds, but the sunroom is the best part!
Definitely worth the drive.

Good to hear you had a great time!
I hope you enjoyed the newley installed flooring and kitchen backsplash.
My family had a great stay. We loved the beach access and enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks and nice walks on the
Beach. Great big fire pit and spectacular views of lake superior was awesome. Close to Canada and Mackinac island ,makes it easy to visit. Also, great for rock collectors off white fish point.
Wanted to take the family away for a getaway to the UP and was lucky to have found this spot. A wonderful home with an amazing view just far enough outside of town for peace and quiet yet not too far from the adventures. I highly recommend booking a stay, hope to come back again in the future.

Very glad you enjoyed!
Your welcomed back anytime!
Gorgeous spot on the shore of Lake Superior, lawn to the beach, trees on the edge. Very convenient, very quiet, great views. Watching the big freighters was a a first order delight.
The house was very nice. There were no instructions at the house and we didn't receive the email with instructions until the day after we arrived. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very glad you enjoyed your stay.
Thank you for taking great care of the property.
I'm sorry you were unable to find the email I sent to you the day of your arrival.
Once again everything was wonderful. Drew was quick to respond each time we needed contact. The house was perfect for a quiet 12 day stay. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. We can't wait to come back for longer next time.
Beautiful setting and lovely home! Watched freighters and enjoyed rock hunting on the wide beach!
Communication was great! I had a question (I overlooked an earlier message) and heard back immediately! House had everything we needed, lots of towels, well stocked kitchen, nice beds, and information on nearby attractions! Hope to return!

Gail was a great guest and and I hope to get the opportunity to host her again.
This property is perfect for a weekend or a week. Located outside of Brimley, it is near many recreational sites. The owner has taken advantage of beautiful Whitefish Bay with great views. Clean sandy beach! Only draw back was that there is no bathroom upstairs, but there is one full and one half bath down.
Very clean, well designed house. Yard and beach were fabulous. Great location, perfect for kicking back or taking in all of Whitefish Point, Brimley and SSM. No complaints at all. If only we could have controlled the weather too. Will be staying here again with family and/or friends.
This property is extremely family friendly. There are many games, puzzles and even Legos for the kids. The beach is beautiful and sandy, but for the rock hounds like myself a short walk in either direction you'll find a lot of treasures. The front sunroom was stunning and watching the freighters was a wonderful highlight to our trip. We enjoyed the fact that the property was close to all the areas we wanted to visit: Pictured Rocks, Grand Marais Falls, Sable Falls, Miner's Falls, the Soo, ect. We live in a resort town, Houghton Lake, so going further north to leave the hustle and bustle of our town during tourist season is a relaxing must. Definitely a five star rating!

So glad your stay was enjoyable. If your a rock hound, during your next visit you should hunt for yooperlites.
My husband and I loved our stay at this house. We were looking for a private setting with beach access and this property was perfect!
We spent most of our time in the sunroom - reading, relaxing and watching all the big ships go by. The view of Lake Superior is gorgeous plus the week we were there the trees were at their peak fall colors - each side of the yard is lined with trees.
The first day we arrived the host, Drew, sent us a message to just make sure that everything was fine and if we did have any questions or concerns that we could contact him - which was very thoughtful.
The house is very clean and has everything that you could need. I especially liked the washer and dryer - they were much nicer than other places we have stayed at.
I highly recommend this property!
This was the best property we have found along this stretch of Lake Superior. It was larger than others and we loved the sunroom overlooking the Lake. The kitchen was very well equiped with dishes, pans, and extras like foil, wrap, and some basic spices. Lots of toilet paper and towels in the bathroom. That is especially great as Brimley or the Soo are the closet places to buy supplies. Beach access was good and we sat a lot in the Adirondack chairs on the Lake bank. Sandy beach this year even out into the water but from experience that can change from year to year.

Glad the cabin and property accommodated you well. Luckily our beach frontage has always been sandy, but like you said each year brings a new shore line elevation after winter.
Look forward to having you back!
We loved this house! The location is perfect. The sunroom and the beachfront make this worth it! They provide standing fans to the rooms that don't have ceiling fans which was really nice. Our main hangout space during the evenings was the living room. We completed 3 puzzles together on their perfectly sized coffee table!
Only a few issues - the toilet seat in the half bath is broken and slides off. The living room lighting is quite dim. Also I feel like the listing could be more specific with the locations of the bathrooms. There isn't a bathroom on the second floor, and is a bit of a walk - however they do provide plenty of nightlights to illuminate the way.
We left wishing we had booked a few more days! We will definitely recommend this place to family and friends!
The upper bedroom had blood stains on the duvet on the queen bed. Lower bedroom had soiled band aid stuck to the gray comforter. Small bathroom toilet seat fell off first time it was used. Large bathroom shower curtain has black mildew. Also tub is slippery so we had to go out to buy a bath mat for safety. This was our second stay there in two years. Unlikely we will go back, although the location is excellent.
We have traveled to the U.P. each September since 2020 and we've booked homes on Superior from Big Bay to the Soo in those years. This was a perfect location! It was the quiet, less traveled location with easy 20-30 minute access to major grocery stores and services that we really loved. It was so perfect in fact that we did not venture away from the immediate area other than a day in the Soo and a day at Whitefish. We lived in the glass room unless we were cooking/eating or playing cards. Plus we were blessed to see an amazing show of the Northern Lights with the naked eye during our week there. This house became a home and we loved it and look forward to returning in the future. If you are a freighter/laker lover, this is perfect to track them coming and going through the Soo. We are also rock hounds and while the stones on the immediate beach in front of the house were sparse this year, there were PLENTY of opportunities within a mile in either direction. This is a home that is perfect for every season. Don't sleep on it! And as always, thank you for sharing it with us.
I have been staying all around Lk Superior every year since I was 5 yrs. old and "hounded" my first rocks at the mouth of the 2hearted. Some places have been basic, and some more luxurious. Maybe it is my now being 66 yrs. old and slowing down a bit (or not), but this property and stay was a perfect fit for an amazing week in the UP. The cottage was really clean, well equiped, comfortable, and the best part was the atrium/sunroom. I lived out there with the MarineTraffic app and binoculars (if you don't have your own there is a pair there waiting for you). My wife loved the jetted tub, and believe me if she was not convinced of its cleanliness, she would not have gone near it. Whenever I did not know where she was, I just listened for the tub jets softly rumbling. The host, Drew, responded to our messages within seconds, and shared a pdf of tips and info. for the home. The beach was amazing, and basically deserted, making long walks really nice. Access to parking and the cottage were great. We did not go prepared to hunt Yooperlites, but next time...! Yes I hope there is a next time.
This house and property are clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Beach is absolutely gorgeous. View is absolutely gorgeous. Freighters are a common sight from the sunroom and lower bedroom window. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of paper products, extra linens and thick, fluffy beach and bath towels, Owner was very responsive and genuinely kind and helpful. Lots of space for myself, my husband, our daughter and 4 grandchildren 8-18 years old to sleep, relax, cook meals together and enjoy each others company. Front and back porch decks both have comfortable tables and seating. Beautiful, heavy wooden Adirondack chairs around both fire pits in the large backyard. And a wood (porch) swing overlooking the Lake to take in the sunrises and sunsets. So many memories made here for our family! Simply unbeatable location with access to all the beauty and splendor of Lake Superior, Hiawatha National Forrest, hiking trails, local beaches, attractions and wildlife. The area is rich in Bay Mills Indian Community tradition, culture and lore. Lothrups smoked, fresh and fried whitefish right down the road. Dancing Crane, also close, is a warm and welcoming local gathering place for ice cream, coffee, smoothies, etc as well as unique handmade art and offerings. Sugar Daddy Bakery in Brimley has every cookie, bar, cake and donut you could dream of and there’s a small, local market near for necessities and a Meijer half an hour away in Sault Ste Marie
