Upon entering the "Sol y Mar II", you immediately feel the calming ambiance of the decor featuring blues, greys, and whites - the perfect accompaniments to the ocean. You have found your "zen"....

Relish in the quiet morning sunrise while sipping a fresh brewed cup of coffee and soaking up the rays of the warm Florida sun and later, enjoy dining with a family BBQ. At night, appreciate the amazing sunsets of golden oranges and pinks while chatting with a glass of wine.

The unique decor in this ground floor unit sets "Sol y Mar II" apart from all the others. Appreciate all the details. Enjoy the guilty pleasure of watching a little Netflix in your own room. Cook up some fish tacos with your complete kitchen. Six guests will fit comfortably with 1 queen bed and en-suite bath, guest room w/ 1 queen bed, and one queen size sleeper sofa. High quality linens and towels complement your plush mattresses. Sink into the 14" memory foam with pillow top in the master bedroom.

During the day, discover the tidal lagoons and stroll around Lovers Key State Park - voted one of the best beaches in America! Kayak around the mangroves, or rent a boat to explore the many beaches and private islands.

At night you savor the samplings of the international restaurant scene of Fort Myers or Naples.

We are located mid-island, so you can walk to everything from here or take the Free Tram or Trolley for .75 cents. Walking trails and Kayak drop, 2 blocks away. Bike paths make exploring the area an enjoyable ride. Parking is available on-site. This unit is located on the ground floor in a multifamily home.

We rent to mature adults and families only. A lease and photo id will be required. This is a family friendly street and not suitable for a rowdy crowd. 4 adults/2children max.

We are also located just two blocks from the Mound House which is an interesting tour along with access to a kayak drop. Matanzas Pass is in this location as well that features a scenic nature walk along the bay.

Relax! If you can imagine it, it can be yours. Our home at "Sol y Mar II" is your home! Please look at the map, we are not OCEANFRONT but we have direct beach access via a deeded PRIVATE path to the ocean. ALSO PLEASE READ THE LEASE BEFORE BOOKING! Great Place!

It is located mid-island which made it easy to go either way for restaurants and it is a short walk to the beach. Very clean and owners were very easy to get ahold of.

Perfect little condo right by the beach

We were here for the beach and this was the perfect spot! It had everything we needed for our weekend beach getaway! The host was very responsive and accommodating!

No help in refund or different dates

I was hospitalized the day before I was to leave for this trip. I was released from the hospital just yesterday, a week after my supposed arrival. I contacted the owners explaing my situation and asked if they would just pick out a 5 day stretch where I could come utilize their property. The owners response was sorry, because of the hurricane they arent in a position to help, but offered 20% off a new stay/booking. So, their hurricane disaster is more important to keep my $2k than my disaster of being hospitalized for a week. And yes, it cost me $2k to book their property. To offer no relief tells me all I need to know about their heart. I am out close to $3k with the plane tickets included. Yes, I could have purchased the insurance. However, any decent person wouldnt use their disaster to top someone else's disaster.

Great stay

Accommodations and location were great! Everything we needed and more was available at the house. The property owners were very accommodating and made the check in process very easy ensuring that we were happy with the space. This definitely made for a nice little get away. I will agree the traffic on Estero Island is a bit congested but one might expect that being in such a small island. Overall it was a nice trip, beautiful beach (not over crowded at all), in very comfortable accommodations. In returning to that area I would definitely choose this location again.

This is a family collaboration of four generations! Grandfather, father, sons, and grandsons (grand daughter too) Every family member has contributed a part to making this property a home. We want to extend a warm welcome to all our guests and hope that you enjoy our home as much as we do! We started LetsGoPDC with the intention of sharing our homes with friends and family.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location!!!! What else can we say! The property is located mid-beach. You have a quiet area to relax with your family, but if you want to be in the middle of the action then just head 5 minutes up the island. We are ideally located, close to the grocery, restaurants, the public water park, the trails, the library with sky view dining, and the bay. Trolley is a free and convenient way to get around if you do not want to walk or use one of the two bikes we have available to guests.

Updated with all the amenities you need to feel at home. BBQ area and outdoor dining as well as private terrace, make this the ideal place to relax and socialize.
