Experience the Copper Country's natural beauty from our flagship property! The Miner was tastefully decorated & pays tribute to the area’s rich copper mining history. It is quaint & relaxing, yet spacious enough for entertaining.

The Miner is the perfect destination for couples, business travelers and small families as it sits at the gateway to the Keweenaw and is located steps from the famed Jack Stevens snowmobile trail.

A portion of all bookings will donated to local youth hockey.

All of our vacation rentals are centered around the Keweenaw’s top four season attractions! Located near the pristine shores of Lake Superior, we have single family properties available ranging from 1-3 bedrooms. Our properties are located within historical downtown Hancock and in the quaint town of Chassell Michigan. When you book with us, you will find remodeled homes decorated with rustically modern finishes and outfitted with well appointed kitchens.

Our guests are able to access the entire property to include their own private laundry, luxury shower and full kitchen with all the amenities you could need to host your open private dinner.

I may or may not be available during your stay, but we have a property manager that lives in the area, and is available.

The Keweenaw Peninsula is a four season destination, and is exciting for everyone because there is always something to do! You can enjoy our pristine fresh water beaches in the summer because we are salt free! Seek adventure on the world’s best snowmobile trails because we get up to 25 feet of snow each winter! If you are looking for a quiet vacation then visit this spring to hunt morel mushrooms! If fall is more your speed, then come for the great weather and breathtaking colors. Maria and I each served in the Air & Space Forces for over 20 years and we started Copper County Vacation Rentals with the main goal of providing our guests with clean, comfortable and relaxing adventures. As we return to the Keweenaw full-time we will continue to provide amazing lodging, but we will also look to enhance our experience packages.

Due to our military background we believe in 100% transparency and renting a home from a stranger can be intimidating. We are absolutely certain you will love staying with us and we encourage you to check out our numerous reviews online to make sure that is the case!
