About this property

Sundance - 2 miles to Rocky Mountain National Park

The Shupe Family would like to welcome you to our mountain home we call Sundance! (Lic#6180) (20-NCD0173) Our goal is to make your vacation as memorable as possible.

The home is a 1600 SF 3 bed, 2.5 bath, modern, mountain townhome that is half of a duplex. The other half is also available as a rental should you have a larger group (VRBO# 1541794). The open concept living area has tons of light and large beautiful windows that invite the outdoors in.

The back patio has a nice patio set, picnic table, umberella, propane grill, and gas fire table. From the patio, the views look across dedicated open space toward a mix of majestic white capped mountains and foothills. The elk and deer love the adjacent meadow and are seen grazing frequently!

There's a nice master retreat with a king bed on the main level with 2 more bedrooms and a bath upstairs. The second bedroom has a king bed that can be converted into two twins and the third bedroom has a queen bed, twin bunk beds and a twin futon.

Though the home has two HD Smart TVs and Wi-Fi it is also loaded with board games, cards, and children's books and toys.

This home is located on the west side of town, very near the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and is just 2 miles from downtown Estes Park.

Thank you for viewing our listing! We hope to welcome you to your next Estes Park vacation!

About the host

Host profile image
Gregg and I are small business owners, who raised 5 kids and are now enjoying our 8 grand kids (all 4 yrs and younger with 2 more on the way!). We live in Greeley, CO , but have always wanted to get back up to Estes since I lived and worked there in high school. Because family and business keep us in the Valley, we thought The Getaway would be the perfect compromise.

We're happy to be able to share our home with you and hope that you will make many precious memories with your family and friends!

Why they chose this property

We love the fact that the town home backs up to open space, so that despite being near other homes we feel like we have a private, quiet place in the mountains, especially when we're out on our back porch.

What makes this property unique

One of the best things about The Getaway is that we see so much wildlife! Elk, deer, bobcats, bears, chipmunks and sometimes moose! We hope that you'll experience some of the wildlife as well - just be careful! They do bite!
