The house was a wonderful location with very easy access to the beach right from the porch. The house itself was spotlessly clean and completely modern. They were extremely responsive to all texts and reached out to check if everything was okay which it was. We had a wonderful time with our family making many lifelong memories. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

The property was in excellent condition. We had everything we needed for our wonderful quiet beach get away. The transfer to and from Southport was super efficient and easy as well. 5 star experience. We will return!

We had a great week at Sea La Vie. House is steps away from boardwalk beach access. Kitchen is well stocked, enjoyed using the bicycles, beach toys, and golf cart on the island. BHI is a special place for our family and we loved the Sea La Vie layout and amenities.

I absolutely loved this property. I have stayed at multiple properties on BHI and this location is one of my favorites. 1 minute from the door to the beach, extremely clean house and very well stocked in all the ways--from the kitchen, to the sand toys/chairs, even toilet paper and detergent. The two bedrooms on the second floor are quite spacious and the third floor was PERFECT for kids with 4 different beds (including a cute loft). I would absolutely recommend it and hope to stay again.

Great BHI home

Great home with beautiful ocean view off top deck. Home very clean, beautifully furnished, great communication with Tyler property manager. Loved staying here and can't wait to go back! Great property.

Dream Come True

Thank you for an amazing trip! This is by far the best place we have ever visited. We are already planning our return trip to Sea La Vie. And a big shout out to Tyler for such great communication and kindness. This helped make our first trip to Bald Head Island worry free and relaxing!

Very clean and great location

Beautifully decorated and well stocked kitchen. Only issue is no 3rd shower or bath so guests on 3rd floor have to come down. It wasn’t bad but just had to plan accordingly. Could use some throw blankets and extras for the bedrooms. Property manager was very responsive. Bikes would have been nice at this price point; something to consider. We enjoyed our stay.

Jenny - We are so glad you had a great visit to the island and our home! We wish you would have reached out about the the extra blankets and throws as there are some in the antique chest in the guest bedroom, and more throws in the living room hutch. We will add this to our welcome guide though to make sure future guests are aware. Unfortunately building code doesn't allow for a 3rd shower in the home. We are building an enclosed outdoor shower this fall to give our guests an extra one and the great bald head island outdoor shower experience. In the past we have opted to price the home competitively to allow for guests to rent bikes if they chose. This ensures they have them in great condition, the right sizes, and ease of access during their stay. We definitely appreciate your feedback on this though and will be looking to add some bikes to the home asap. We would love to host you again and thank you again for being such great guests!

Great House, perfect location, idyllic island

The house has been remodeled and is in perfect condition. Plenty of space for 2 families (you could do the 2 main bedrooms for 2 couples, and put upto 4 kids in the upstairs bedroom). Easy walk to the beach. New golf cart. Plenty of chairs and toys for the kids provided. Views of the ocean from the master and upstairs kids room, views of the dunes from all around the lower floor. It''s a great spot. Barbara is as good a vrbo host as you'll ever deal with. If you have a problem, she will make it right.
