Beautiful, luxurious apartment house "Aquila", 5 storeys, built in 2004. In the district of Zer Bännu, 850 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position, south facing position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Supermarket 750 m, restaurant 350 m, bakery 850 m, bicycle rental 850 m, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Wiestibrücke" 500 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 850 m. Mountain railway, ski rental 700 m, ski bus stop 500 m, ski school 1.1 km, children's ski school 1.1 km. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Taxis can drive to within 50 steps of the house. After this point, you can use the elevator after the first staircase next to the house Capriolo, to avoid the extra stairs.
4-room penthouse 119 m2, on the top floor, south facing position. Modern and tasteful furnishings: large living/dining room with Scandinavian wood stove, dining table, cable TV, flat screen, radio, CD-player and DVD. Exit to the balcony. 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed (1 x 160 cm, length 200 cm). 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Large, open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (chinoise, cheese)). Bath/WC, shower/WC. Floor heating. Balcony 13 m2, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Picturesque and charming apartment

We loved our time in this charming just right sized apartment. It had everything we needed and the building was quiet. You have to enjoy walking up and down to and from the village. It felt like stepping back in time and was a very peaceful stay.

Great apartment - tough to get to though...

Really well equipped and organized: the Interhome team were great, very available and the apartment itself has great views (although the tree is now a bit bigger than in the listing photo!) and is well equipped. But... boy it takes some getting to - either a 15 mins walk or a 20.- taxi ride, then down steps, down an elevator, up steps, up an elevator... all to get to the front door! Ok if you're traveling light, but it's some effort if you dragging luggage and kids. So overall, if you're traveling light and are fit/mobile enough to bypass the elevators, take the stairs up and down and walk back and forth into town - this place is great.

Clean Apartment

The apartment is as advertised: spacious and comfortable, with great views of the town of Zermatt and the Matterhorn. The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked with cooking equipment, and everything was very clean. There were a few things that surprised us, that could have been better. A family of 5 staying for 7 days needs more than one garbage bag for the kitchen, and no extras were provided. There was also no dishwasher detergent, no napkins or paper towels, and very little toilet paper.

Apparemment top avec vue magnifique. Seul bémol et pas des moindres, est son emplacement et accès par des escaliers et ascenseur dans l’immeuble voisin , donc compliqué avec bagages et skis...

Als wir in der Wohnung ankamen, war sie eiskalt (ungeheizt) !! Das Cheminee konnten wir nicht anheizen (kein Holz vorhanden!) Geschirrspül-Tabs waren abgezählt 5 Stk.vorhanden für 6 Tage und 6 Personen !! Mussten nachkaufen! 1 Abfallsack für eine Woche und 6 Personen !! 3 WC-Rollen für 2 WC's die mussten wir ebenfalls nachkaufen !! Also für meinen Begriff, sehr knausrig !! Ich habe nirgends im Beschrieb gelesen, dass diese Wohnung am Hang sehr weit oben steht !Für ältere Leute nicht unbedingt em

Beautiful Mountain Penthouse apartment

This is a beauitiful, well equipped apartment with a lot of special touches. The architecture with the beams and wood trim and builtins was lovely. It had a real Swiss mountain feel and had every thing we needed. Weenjoyed our stay there very much. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked breakfast and two dinners there. The only difficuilty was the steep climb for us to get there. I am 78 and my husband is 80.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, saubere und gemütliche Zimmer, schöner Balkon und super Aussicht. Ruhige Gegend, ca. 15 Min. vom Dorfzentrum entfernt. Für Familienferien mit grösseren Kindern perfekt. Zugang zum Haus führt über Treppen und Lift. Für Personen mit Gehbehinderung nicht geeignet.
