We can’t thank the owners enough for the most perfect family week! The house is simply beautiful with everything we needed for our family of 7 to sleep, play, eat and relax comfortably. Morning coffee and evening wine on the dock was probably our favorite part of our vacation but the epic wiffle ball games in the yard proved the most memorable. We can’t wait for next year, we’ll definitely be back!

Although the home has a spectacular view the home requires updates to be able to accommodate a group. The weekly rental rate did not corrolate with the condition of the home.
We spent a week at this charming house with gorgeous water views. It was clean and well decorated. The location is secluded and private. Amazing outdoor shower for coming home sandy after a day at the beach. Beverage fridge, which was helpful to stock all our waters, seltzers, & beer for the beach. Great appliances. We had coffee on the deck and dock in the morning. We drove into town every morning to run on the shady paved bike/walking trails. We watched sunsets at nearby Skaket Beach. We went to Nauset Beach, Coast Guard Beach (soft beautiful sand and great weaves). We ate in nearby Chatham, Orleans and took a ferry to Nantucket for the day. We ate a lot of seafood and ice cream.
We found this home well organized and so comfortable for our large family (4 teenagers). Jenny was very responsive in answering questions and helping us a bit with planning too.
Wonderful rental, and hope to return another year.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The location is perfect off a quiet road and located on a beautiful cove. Each day we woke to the perfect view the cove with two resident seals frolicking in the water. The house is large and spacious which allows plenty of personal space for guests to spread out or to come together in the grand kitchen. We would return to this property in a heartbeat.
We had an absolutely wonderful week at Dockside. Our group of nine (two families - 4 adults, 5 kids) had plenty of space to spread out. The kids really enjoyed having their own hangout space downstairs in the game room area (ping pong was a hit), and the adults took in as much of the beautiful views as we could. Having access to the water from the dock was great, and everyone had fun on the kayaks and paddleboard. The huge outdoor shower was a highlight as well. The private location but proximity to everything great about the Cape was key for us. Next time, I'm going to make sure to rent a boat to cruise from the dock to Pleasant Bay. Jenny was a very considerate host and always just an email away if we needed anything. Our group has been renting on the Cape for several years now, and Dockside definitely sets the standard for us for a great vacation house. Hope to be back again soon!
What an amazing waterfront home and property with lots of privacy! Our two-week stay could not have been more ideal. Located on the water with a great dock for our boat and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood we enjoyed lots of excursions by land and sea while also spending an equal amount of time reading and resting on the hammock and deck, enjoying smores around the firepit, and kayaking and/or paddle boarding off the dock. Dockside is well equipped with just about anything a family could desire with lots of spaces for rainy day ping-pong matches, family puzzles and two family rooms for movie watching. Jen and Chris are incredibly helpful hosts and were available to help us for planning our adventure before our arrival and quick in responding to questions about the area during our stay. We highly recommend DOCKSIDE!
