The Space:

If your goal is to be just steps from the beach on your next vacation, then look no further than SunDestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL. A newly renovated outdoor pool, fitness facility also enjoy our outdoor hot tub, a sauna, a steam room, and an indoor pool (heated seasonally). The gift shop is filled with beach supplies and snacks and complimentary DVD rentals are available should you decide to spend an evening in. Additional seasonal amenities include beach chair/umbrella rentals (fee), an outdoor tiki bar, and a splash pad. SunDestin Beach Resort houses more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, making it ideal for wedding receptions, family reunions, or large gatherings. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.



SunDestin Unit 1701 is a beautifully-decorated, calming retreat your whole family will enjoy. Calming blues and sandy hues lend an air of refinement to this spacious two bedroom, two bathroom condo accommodating up to four. The well-appointed kitchen is loaded with everything needed to create fabulous meals and entertain a crowd. Lounge in the cozy living room after a day in the sun and catch a game on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Gather at the breakfast bar or the dining table for coffee and conversation, or out on the balcony, directly overlooking the gulf. Sleeping options includes a full and a twin bed in the guest bedroom and a king-sized bed in the master suite, which also houses a flat-screen TV,  suite bathroom, and private access to the balcony.



Should you venture off property, you’ll find plenty to do and just minutes away. Head over to the Destin harbor for a day of shopping or rent a pontoon boat and spend the day on the water!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Favorite unit we’ve stayed in!

This was our third year staying at sundestin and this was definitely our favorite unit! It’s spacey, we have kids, clean & has a beautiful view! There’s a few small things that could use some updating in the bathrooms & kitchen but nothing too crazy. Absolutely would recommend, we will be staying in this unit again!

We went on a family vacation with several other families. The room was very clean and contained basic necessities to add to a comfortable stay. We didn\'t have to interact with management much. I was upset to see people staying on the property with pets when it was stated that there were no pets allowed on the property.

Room was clean. Main level was kept very clean. But stair wells were not. Lots of trash. Stinky dirty towels in laundry areas and hallways. Unit was well equipped with all sorts of kitchen appliances and dishes, which was awesome. Didn’t really need guest services but the staff was nice and helpful when needed. Condo is on busy road. Almost impossible to turn out of during busy day times. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

NO PULLOUT COUCH

We picked this condo because it said it fit 6, with a pullout couch. No pullout couch so we had to sleep on the couch and get a roll away bed. The description said there was a restaurant downstairs and a tiki bar by the pool, both were closed. Kitchen did not even have pot holders, scissors, or other items needed.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

This unit is simply beautiful! Everything has been well cared for and setup to make our stay simply amazing! Very nice furniture, comfy beds, good appliances, we feel at home here! Full ocean views make this unit incredible! Every morning we wake up to see the sunrise, and in the evenings watch the most amazing sunsets! Dolphins and miles of pristine beach, WOW! We were very excited to see the new bar height Patio Chairs, what a pleasant surprise! Photos should definitely be updated to show off these chairs, because being able to sit on the balcony with a full gorgeous ocean view is at the top of the list! So, thank you for the opportunity to stay in this gorgeous unit, we feel blessed and grateful! The resort is absolutely amazing, attention to details, friendly, helpful and clean, clean, clean! Love that! We'll definitely be coming back! Love it here!

Not happy.

Save for a once in a lifetime vacation to my disparity. The pool was absolutely unacceptable. Needed serious cleaning. The room had a few minors which would have been tolerated had the pool been ok. Checked out early as a result. Was given a small refund and canceled my next trip there which was refunded. Was a heartbreaker as I will never be able to plan that type trip again

Dirty room

Room had sand all over. We tried to clean but the vacuum in the room had no beater brush in addition to no suction. The drains in the bathroom sinks were so clogged that you could barely run the faucet for more than a few seconds before it backed up. There was a years worth of dead bugs in the light fixtures and dirt on almost all of the furnace air registers. Most of the furniture was scuffed/chipped and the faux leather ottomans were cracking pretty bad. Beds were uncomfortable, but that was expected. Views of the ocean were also great. The gift shop and front desk staff were outstanding. This was our second trip in 3 years to the Sundestin, but we might try another resort next time.
