I really liked the rustic nature of the place. Yes, things are older, but that adds to the charm. The kitchen was in great shape and well stocked. It's on the last bus stop away from the mountain, but that was not an issue for us since the busses work well. But if you want to be in the fancy and ridiculously expensive village areas, this is not for you.The showers need work tho. One showerhead leaks like crazy and the other one has pressure so high it almost hurts. I would stay there again.

Beautiful and relaxing setting.
The creek in the back yard was spectacular and relaxing.
Absolutely perfect stay in this beautiful condo! Quick 6 minute drive to Vail Village or Lionshead. Shuttle also conveniently located right outside if you didn’t want to drive into the village. Condo had absolutely everything we could need and more. Cozy feel and was super spacious. Amazing stay in Vail!

A bargain in Vail
Roomy 2 bedroom condo in West Vail, close to the bus stop, and with a back porch bordering on the stream. First floor condo so not much light, but this is VAIL. You just can't get a better deal at this price.
We selected this unit for location and price considerations. Being on the Vail shuttle route makes access to Vail Village simple. The condo has everything a smaller group needs. Yes it’s a little older but no complaints. Biggest thing for us was relatively quiet and buffer from I-70 above

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. Overall, this provided great value for the amenities provided. Great proximity to the bus stop. Creek is steps away from the patio. Parking spot is tight for a large vehicle. Everything you could imagine was available for use in the kitchen. There is an unevenness to the floors that took getting used to. We were overall very satisfied with our stay and would return.
Overall we had a good stay. It was a quiet area and this unit is ground floor right on the creek.Few small things didn’t quite work right like porch light (dark porch with steps), a pile of old clothes left in the nightstand cabinet, and the mechanical keypad door lock will work if you’re patient learning the technique the first time. The place is old but cozy, with a few updates here and there. The entertainment area was well-stocked with movies, and Netflix available. Kitchen has lots of cooking supplies as well. Fridge & dishwasher were old but functional (no problems). Oven & microwave were updated. And had coffee maker, espresso machine, and a toaster. The toaster smoked though, so we didn’t use.We didn’t want to stay in the middle of Vail with all the hustle and noise, so this was a perfect location. And it’s in the building behind the building facing the freeway, so it’s blocked from most of the traffic noise. It’s a great place to relax and spread out if a few small flaws can be overlooked.

Spacious property, needs some attention. Dusty baseboards & corners, and a dead mouse on a sticky pad in the living room, a dried out contact on the bathroom floor. Carbon monoxide detector battery was low & beeping, no batteries in the smoke detectors. The property got really warm in the afternoon & over night, but there were fans in the unit.

Eeek!
This property needs a deep cleaning. Found in the residence; 1 dead & decaying mouse on a sticky trap, a couple of other sticky traps (gross & inhumane) a dried up contact lens on the bathroom floor, a collection of years of dust & trapped items beside the washer/dryer, a low battery in the carbon monoxide detector (which beeped until I removed it from the wall) no batteries in the smoke detectors, and lots of dust… baseboards & corners were really dusty. I did reach out to the management & they offered to replace the batteries for the C0 & fire detectors.

Lackluster
Front door handle broke from unfit door.Had to leave via back door. We only had hot water on day one of our stay (from the 4pm checkin). I reached out about hot water heater not working, I was told to check for breaker box. I’m happy to do so, but they couldn’t give me an exact location because I was talking to a generic support agent who is not familiar with this exact location. Had to shower cold. Floors are uneven. Place was decently clean. Location was great if you are skiing at Vail, but that’s about it. I would not stay again. Very frustrating experience for the price.

Great location. Not for everyone...
The proximity to the ski bus and being right on the creek are great. We loved using the wood stove for ambiance and heat. That being said there are some fundamental flaws. The subfloor is not up to code and is warped and squeaky with varied floor coverings from the 80s. There was a very good attempt to update with paint and that is appreciated but there are too many major things to overlook. New mattresses would be a great start. You are asked to strip the sheets before leaving and that is a bad last impression with the age and state of the mattresses. I got this for a great deal. Am appreciative of the accommodations but know as a rental owner myself that I would never allow this for my guests.
