Charming cottage for 4 people in a quiet area

Located on the edge of the village of La Rochegiron in the Alpes de Haute Provence, only 4km from the village of Banon and all its shops (bakery, butchers, tobacconist, mini-markets, ...) and restaurants.

This rental, spread over two levels and fully air-conditioned, was converted in 2022 into an old stone sheepfold. It will seduce lovers of the charm of the old, combined with modern comfort. During your stay, you can also enjoy the swimming pool, shared with the hosts, a real haven of freshness where you can relax and refresh yourself throughout the day.

Upstairs is the sleeping area, consisting of two bedrooms and a shower room. On the ground floor, the living room occupies the entire level: a fully equipped kitchen is set up under the stairs, a lounge area with a sofa bed is located at the back of the room, and a table that can accommodate up to six people is installed to the right of the entrance.

The travertine terrace, located just in front of the rental, is ideal for enjoying the sweetness and calm of Provençal evenings. A garden is also at your disposal to install a deckchair, take a nap to the song of the cicadas or let the children enjoy the fresh air.

Just opposite the rental, a playground and a ping-pong table are available to holidaymakers. Numerous hiking trails criss-cross the countryside and lavender fields, offering magnificent walks or bike rides.

Rich in gastronomy, cultural, historical and artisanal heritage, the region promises you beautiful discoveries and holidays that will leave you with wonderful memories.

In addition to the markets in Banon on Tuesdays and Saturdays, don't miss the large Provençal market in Forcalquier on Mondays, the largest in the region. You can stock up on fresh products and local specialities. The many and passionate producers of the area will be happy to introduce you to their products, often from organic farming.
