David and Judy have a very comfortable and beautiful home. Our family and friends enjoyed staying there. Highly recommended you stay with them! The Meller’s
Great location, clean, and house is very well stocked with all you need. Accommodated our group of 6 quite comfortably. Very inviting front porch and nice yard. Everything was just as advertised. Hope to return sometime.
Nice home in great area. Well equipped kitchen. Short walk to nice beach, restaurants and shops. Beach admission pricey at $12 pp. free after 5 pm. Host responded immediately to all inquiries. Would definitely stay again.

Uncomfortable and Unhappy
We rented this home for a week beginning on a Saturday and were unfortunately met with several major issues that significantly impacted our stay.To start, the internet was not working at all until late Monday afternoon, which created problems for members of our group who needed to work remotely or stay connected. Even more concerning was that the air conditioning for the entire upstairs — where all the bedrooms are located — was not functional for most of our stay. It was obviously broken before we arrived and yet we were not appraised of this. It was not fixed until Thursday. Given the high summer temperatures and humidity, this made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. Some of our party actually had to leave early due to the heat and humidity making it impossible to sleep upstairs.Repair people came and went for several days, and while we appreciated the effort to get things fixed, it meant our time at the house was repeatedly disrupted. When we brought up the idea of compensation for all of this, the landlord was noticeably curt and resentful. We were eventually offered a 15% refund, which felt insufficient considering that half of the house was effectively unusable for most of our stay.We had high hopes for this property, and it’s clear that it could be a great place under normal circumstances. But between the lack of communication, delays in resolving essential issues, and the dismissive response when we voiced concerns, it’s hard to recommend this rental in good faith.
Third year staying here, very spacious and you can’t beat having coffee on the front porch. Plenty of room for a large group with the 5 bedrooms and two living rooms, a dining room with a big table to play cards on. Good parking, a pleasant 3/4 mile walk to the beach, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Thanks again to our great hosts!
This house great amenities. Central Air, large washer and dryer, large driveway. 4 Bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths make it perfect for our large family. This is our second time visiting and we will likely come back next year.
My family and I had a great vacation week. The house was perfect size for us all. I loved that there are two sitting rooms; both were used. Kitchen is nice and big. My favorite part about the house was the front porch. That was the hang out spot for our morning coffee and evening drinks! The house has a great size yard as well, which was nice for our pup. The house is close to the beach. It’s also very quiet. I would think being that close to the water, it would have been busier and louder.
A bonus for our week was we got to see their annual Blessing of the Fleet. We watched the road race from the the front porch. Then after the race, we walked down to the carnival area and enjoyed some food and music.
There are many different restaurant options within a 10 min drive. And if you have kids, Adventureland Family Fun Park is worth a visit.
Easy check-in; very responsive hosts. Very spacious house in great location- town beach and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Well appointed kitchen and functional outside grill. Plenty of room for our family of 5. We’ve rented in Narragansett every year for maybe 20 years and this house very high, if not top, of our list. Highly recommend.
Judy and Dave made staying at their property seamless. They were great communicators, sending us all necessary information and suggestions in advance. The property had plenty of space for my whole family to stay. It was a close walk to the beach. They even provided beach chairs. We loved the old Victorian character with modern updates. We would definitely consider staying again!
Couldn't have been a better stay! The location cannot be matched, a short and easy walk to the beach and to the pier marketplace for coffee, evening strolls for live music by the Towers or a cocktail at Coast Guard House - it was perfection. The house was even better appointed than expected: super spacious, immaculately clean: fresh linens and bright white fluffy towels, refrigerator looked brand new and clean and so many thoughtful details throughout: Verizon Fios TV with all the channels for a rainy afternoon movie, nice soap in every bathroom, kitchen necessities such as trash bags and paper towels and a fresh dish sponge out - all of these and more made our stay so easy, relaxing, comfortable and wonderful! make such a difference! Judy was amazing with communication and even let us check in a few hours early. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back to Nirvana someday!
Spacious and gracious home just 1/2 mile to Narragansett Pier area
We chose this house for location and space and it met those needs perfectly. Short walk to town for coffee or ice cream. 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths to accommodate our extended family including kids and grandparents. Large front porch and large backyard were great. Washer and dryer very handy. Bathrooms were clean and had good water pressure and plenty of towels. AC worked great all week during a heat wave.
There were some negatives however. Dishwasher did not work the entire week we were there and we were not given any reimbursement. I understand that parts are a problem now with supply chain issues … but that is the owners problem not mine. I spent way too much time washing dishes all week by hand.
Front porch furniture is old. Paint is peeling and cushion are filthy. Back yard furniture was nice and the owner did replace the broken umbrella with a brand new one when requested.
Original Coffee maker was defective and dirty inside. Owner delivered a replacement which was also old and dirty. We bought vinegar and performed descaling which helped make the coffee acceptable. But seriously - a new coffee maker is not expensive and good coffee is a must for most people!
Clean sheets were folded and placed on each bed but we had to make all beds upon arrival. We were also asked to strip all beds upon departure. Not a big deal … but also one more thing we had to do regarding housekeeping
We nearly had a catastrophe first time we used the gas grill. It had not been cleaned in who knows how long. Major build up of grease below the grill caught fire and quick action was needed to put out the fire before the gas tank caught fire. Our dinner was ruined and the next day my brother spent a few hours cleaning the grill so we could use it the rest of the week. Again - more work for us.
Bottom line - the house needs to have more attention paid to maintenance details.
I had a rental beach house in NC and we made sure everything was in perfect condition and good working order BEFORE our guests arrived. It should not be the responsibility of guests to provide maintenance during their stay.
We should have been offered a discount for the inconvenience of not having a dishwasher all week.
The house was perfect for us. 5 bedrooms. House was better than described. The best feature was the front porch followed by the central AC. Walking distance to beach and numerous good restaurants.
We had a great week staying at this rental. Absolutely love the updates to the kitchen and bathooms. The huge front porch was great for coffee in the morning and drinks at night. Would stay here again.
This was a wonderful vacation spot. Judy was very attentive answering all my question prior to arrival. House was spotless and plenty of room for 4 boys, 2 small hypoallergenic dogs and myself. Only a 10-15minute walk to the beach (depending on who you are walking with) Boys enjoyed walking to skate and surf shop around the block and The Pour house all week long.
Kitchen was the best I have ever worked in at a VRBO stay. There was plenty of pantry space. 4 boys eat quite a bit and I certainly brought a lot of food. Plenty of pans and utensils as well as a good chopping knife. Lots of counter space. My older boy told me he loved making cookies in this kitchen. Stove was amazing; griddle in the middle of burners worked wonderful for pancakes and eggs.
There was a nice size back yard with grill that we unfortunately did use enough in my option. The boys enjoyed the front porch which had a table and chairs on it.
There was a storm in the middle of the week and owners called me prior to coming to check in on the home.
We hopefully will return next year. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

This was our 4th year vacationing in Narragansett and this, by far, was the best rental we've had. The house was walking distance to the beach and many restaurants, and had plenty of space for 4 teens and 2 adults. The house was incredibly clean and well-kept. I accidentally left something very important after we packed up and left, and when I contacted the owners, they immediately went to the house to retrieve the item to mail it to me. Very happy with our decision to rent this property!
It’s an older house with very nice updates inside. The front porch was a delight to hang out on though the traffic was at times a bit loud. The kitchen was very roomy and well stocked with utensils, dishes, pots and pans. We had 6 in our party and there was plenty of room to gather or find solitude. The bathrooms are nicely updated. The location was great with several restaurants and the beach less than a 10 minute walk away. Also a nice park with a playground is a few minutes walk as well. The neighborhood was very pleasant to walk around. Three grocery stores and many other businesses are within 5 minutes drive. All in all an enjoyable stay.
Great location — walk to beach and restaurants. Plenty of room. Bathrooms and kitchen brand new. Quiet neighborhood. Responsive owner. All this + nice weather = a great week!
