Perfect Glacier property

Loved everything about this property. Proximity to park, cleanliness, just everything. Loved the river running right in the backyard. We enjoyed bonfires several evenings and I would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing Get Away

This is a beautiful property with easy access to Glacier Park--everything you need is a close drive away. It was my husband and I, and our 16 year-old son ,and 17 year- old daughter who stayed in the house. Plenty of room for the four of us, with a bunk bed, and another twin bed to spare. We hiked every day and spent little time in the house. One evening we had a wonderful bonfire while watching the Northern Lights! It was magical!! The only thing that we would sugguest to the owner is to consider a hot tub on the deck over looking the river! That would have been much appreciated after long days of hiking! We were very sore! :) Regardless, I highly recommend this home. It is a beautiful, well kept, and very clean place to stay and we will be back!

Perfect Glacier Base

Beautiful home. Spacious. Close to Glacier Park. On a beautiful river. All the amenities needed for a great vacation. Close enough to town yet not that feel. Host was great and answered any questions quickly. Highly enjoyed this Home.

Glacier home

An absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful location, perfect home base for our trip to Glacier National Park. The views of the river were stunning and we enjoyed the privacy. The home is very comfortable, and well stocked with everything you would need. Rod is a great host and helped us with plans and suggestions to make our trip memorable.

Perfect home for a week of adventure

The house was perfect for our week in Glacier. It's well located-- an easy drive to the park entrance-- and in a beautiful setting with access to the river for post hike swimming. The house is very comfortable and has everything we needed for cooking, hanging out and relaxing. We spent an afternoon on the deck overlooking the river and an evening around the firepit. The bedrooms and bathrooms had nice linens plus beach towels. The hosts graciously provide bear spray, which spared us the expense of buying some. Thank you for a memorable week!

Annual Family Vacation

Each year we take a family vacation to a new location. We had an amazing time exploring Glacier National Park. The house is in a great location close to the park and surrounding communities. The house is tucked away from the road and close to the river making the experience very enjoyable. The owner does a great job maintaining the property and provides plenty of information leading up to the time of arrival.

Great home and location

We stayed one week and would have loved to stay another. The home is very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The deck overlooking the river was spectacular and Rod was super fast at communicating and responding to every question.

Bucket List Trip

We had thought that we wanted to stay in the park, but the location within 10 minutes drive from the park entrance was much better for comfort and an experience to be savored by itself. The view of the river was delightful morning, noon and evening with stars sparkling at night. We climbed down to the river and swam in the refreshing coolness daily. The house is well supplied with kitchen wares and the kitchen is wonderful to make some meals. For a change of pace it is easy to drive into Columbia Falls, Whitefish or Kalispell for dining, shopping and more. A nice surprise was having cocktail hour at Glacier Distilling with tasty and unique spirits less than five minutes from the house. We wish we could stay at this house for another week and come back again and again!

Super house with great fly fishing and views

My family stayed at Ron's property for 4 nights at the end of July 2024. The house was extremely comfortable and roomy. Downstairs master was great so we could get up early without bothering daughter in upstairs bedroom. Upstairs bedroom was huge - has a king and 2 bunks so the house could accommodate a ton of people. Beds very comfy. AC worked great - but didn't need it much. Slept great with windows open. Railroad was barely audible in the distance if you were awake - no way it would wake you up. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with all spices, both drip coffee and Kureg. Grill worked great. By far our favorite feature was the back porch and the deck overlooking the river. Spectacular views. And my personal favorite feature was the access to the Middle Fork of the Flathead. All I did was walk down to the river and start fishing. Yes there are some moderately slippery rocks but any self respecting angler would not be deterred at all. I'd fish early in the morning before we headed to the park as well as one evening after dinner. Caught a bunch of cutthroats just upstream of the stairs as well as the next 800 yards. Used nymphs. Buy license. The park was great. Only 10-12 minutes from the house. Make sure you get passes for the roads at recgov.com (or something like that)120 days before your visit. Also be aware that parking for hikes on going to sun road fill up by 7:30 am - so unfortunately if you have a particular hike in mind, get up early

Best Rental for Glacier Visit

This rental was nothing short of fantastic, the river view and access was perfect. The house was extremely clean, comfortable, and all the amenities we could ask for. Access to the property was easy and communication was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Bliss on the Wild Scenic River

Such a great property to enjoy Glacier. We loved being right on the river with no busy road by the house. Beds and pillows were comfortable and new. Kitchen is well laid out. Outdoor grill is new and nice. Property had two different fire pits and tons of firewood. Steep steps down to the river but we liked the adventure. We plan to be back.

The Best!

This was our first time to Glacier National Park area. This house was perfect for our family… They had everything you would ever need. They had a cooler for us to use, bear spray, and all essential that you usually have to go buy. The location was perfect, and it was just over the Middle Fork River, which was beautiful. We stay in a lot of VRBO’s, but this was by far one of the best! The owners were very quick to answer any questions we had and helped us while we were in the area. All around a great stay for our family!

Gorgeous river home

Absolutely gorgeous mountain home on the river with deck overlooking the water. Meticulously clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family of 5. Quick access into the park (12-15 min drive) and they provided provisions to make our park days easy (cooler, bear spray, bug spray, hiking poles). The host was very helpful with suggestions for the area for dining and communication in general. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We absolutely loved this place. Easy access to the park and close to grocery stores and restaurants. The location on the river is incredible. All the amenities one could ask for and comfortable, roomy accommodations. We’ll be back!

Beautiful oasis!!!

We can’t say enough good things about this property. The cabin is amazing. It was spotless upon arrival. It is absolutely gorgeous nestled in the trees right on the river. We felt like we were completely secluded. Rod was very attentive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The location is so close to the West Entrance to the National park and only about 25 minutes to the airport. There are several yummy restaurants close. We are already planning our next trip!!!

Amazing!

We had an outstanding stay at this property. The house is in a truly beautiful and peaceful location on the river, but is also very close to the Glacier west entrance and restaurants, shopping, other attractions. It was well-stocked with all the essentials needed for our family. Rod was very responsive throughout our stay. We highly recommend, and would love to come back ourselves!

Glacier National gem

The home was clean and well organized. The location is perfectly situated far enough to feel secluded but close enough to quickly access and enjoy all the region’s offerings. Internet and other amenities were present and functioned as expected. The view of the river is unparalleled. Parking is simple and home is relatively easy to find. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay thanks to the host and their lovely property.

The most perfect getaway!

The location of this home could not be more perfect. It feels private and secluded while still being super accessible and close to Glacier. We loved being able to hear the river from the back seating area while having a great view of the surrounding mountains. The home itself is super clean, modern, and stocked with anything you would ever need and more - including an abundance of firewood and bear spray which we especially appreciated! Overall, we couldn’t love this place more. Highly recommend!
