We had a lovely stay at this property. The back deck is wonderful for having lunch and dinner. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away yet very close to grocery shopping and downtown Edgartown. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The property was overall very beautiful and had great amenities. The biggest problem we had was an infestation of ants in the kitchen. We messaged the host and the problem didn’t get resolved before we checked out. The beds and pillows were also not very comfortable.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We are glad you liked the beautiful property and amenities. We take our Guest's satisfication as a high priority. We are sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations on some issues. Regarding the ants, we apologize for the inconvenience. You sent us a picture of one ant, but indicated there were more. We responded to your messages telling you where the ant traps were, and also offered to send an exterminator. We could have sent our caretaker or an exterminator, but we cannot without your consent, and we did not hear back. We are sorry to hear about the beds and pillows, if you could provide more details we can address this concern. Thanks.

Clean House with Updates

The property is continently located close to all areas of the vineyard. We came with our two kids and had a great time. If you are considering staying close to Edgartown but plan on visiting other areas of the island I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Vacation Close to Town

Had a great 2 week vacation at this renovated cottage! There was plenty of room for our kids and guests. The ping pong table and TV in the basement were an added bonus for the kids. Loved the large back yard/deck and enjoyed grilling out. The outdoor shower was nice - it had a changing area. Had to bring towels/sheets as they weren’t provided. The homeowner was very responsive.

Wonderful MV Home

We had a great time here in Edgartown. Modern, bright home, full of amenities for our time in Martha's Vineyard. The backyard was beautiful and perfect to hang out and cook on the grill or play bocce. The updated home made for a lovely place to relax and enjoy a vacation in Martha's Vineyard. We enjoyed the shady walking/biking trail which easily lead us to a nature sanctuary & the shoreline. When driving the house was in a good location to other parts of the island. Thank you!

Great Vacation

Highlights of the house: 1. Great location 2. Upgrade to house is nice and good space 3. Great patio and backyard 4. The house is secured. No jewelry stolen this year. 5. Super firm mattress so bring your own topper if you need a softer mattress. Also, bring your own pillows, sheets, and towels.

Hi Tina, Thanks for the detailed feedback. We're glad to hear you liked the location, upgrades, patio, backyard, and security of our cottage. That is a good point about the mattress. Some guests prefer a firmer mattress, and some would prefer a softer mattress. Guests can certainly bring their own pillow topper, should they prefer a softer feel. I've clarified the wording in the description to bring your own pillows, sheets, and towels. We are glad you enjoyed your vacation!
