We had a family of 5 staying at the house, 3 children ages 8-13. The kids' side of the house fit them great.
They also had the bathroom with their room.
The master room had a great size bed, and it's own bathroom with a bathtub (no shower.) The only shower was in the bathroom on the other side of the house, but there was 2 bathrooms which was much needed with a bigger family.
The washer and dryer came in real handy during the snowy and muddy day hikes we took.
Thr living room is spacious and had enough couch room for all of us and a fire place.
The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes.
The backyard was fun for the kids, too. There weretons of deer that were roaming around and liked to be fed.
The house comes with some quirky notes (switches), but the owners explain it all in messages before you arrive.
It is close to the mountain resort and downtown beech mountain, and quick drives to banner elk, sugar mountain, and Linville falls.
Lots of hiking in the area.
Closest grocery store, other than Fred's (which is a must do), is 20 minutes away.
A great stay for our snowy weekend getaway from FL.
We absolutely loved this house! It was super cozy, very clean, plenty of room with little kids. The house was well stocked with all needs and even went above and beyond with baskets filled with goodies. The furniture is very comfortable. The location is quiet, didn’t even notice there were neighbors. Would definitely rent again!
