What ever the season, you can end your day in our sauna or sit by the fire pit roasting marshmallows while listening to the call of the loons. Cabin has fabulous views of the lake from the dining room, living room and lower level family room. Step out onto the deck from the upstairs living room to enjoy a meal or game.

This was our 4th stay at this wonderful property. We immediately feel at home in the comfort of well-appointed cabin/house, easy lake access, beautiful views, loon calls, wildlife sightings, and (the bonus) Northern Lights! Eagles Nest Lake 1 is peaceful and Chellney and Mark are excellent hosts. We enjoyed all the greater Ely area has to offer...invigorating hikes, biking and walking the Mesabi Trail, boating, canoeing, fishing all with the right amount of downtime to balance our days. Our 2-yr old Black Lab loved it as much as we did.
Our second time at the property. Very comfortable place on the lake with nice extras like canoes and fire pit with wood provided. Many family memories made here!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The views of the lake were awesome and location was fairly close to everything we wanted to do and very close to Bear Head Lake State Park where we did some hiking. The cabin is just as the pictures show, was very comfortable and would definitely stay there again. The cabin is well supplied and the kitchen had everything we needed, was probably the best supplied kitchen we have had.

This is our second stay and it feels like a home away from home. Chellney and Mark are great and responsive hosts and the property is clean, comfortable, has a well-appointed kitchen and easy lake access. It is also centrally located to many attractions, hiking/biking trails, and towns. We are already planning our third visit.

The cabin is wonderful and filled with everything we needed to spend a week with our family. The bedrooms and futon were comfortable. Eagles Nest Lake is a wonderful "BWCA" type lake, quiet, lots of wildlife.
15" from ELy or Tower. This was our second visit.

So happy to hear you had everything you needed at our cabin. We are especially humbled when we have repeat guests such as your family. Hope to see you again, Chellney
Beautiful setting. Enjoyed the lake and especially the quiet. The cabin is very spacious with a lot of amenities. Made trips into Ely and Tower, visited the casino including a wonderful dinner in their steakhouse.
This was our 4th stay and the first under the new owners management. We really appreciated the updates like the new windows, landscaping, chairs by the fire pit and the cleaning up of the shoreline. It was a clean and comfortable stay for our week in the area. Being so close to Bear Head State Park is a plus. Enjoyed viewing the friendly deer in the yard on most days. I’m sure that we will be back for a 5th stay.
