Silver Aspen is a spacious, modern, luxury 3-level townhome (plus loft) right at the base of the slopes in the European-style Solitude resort, only 40 min from Salt Lake airport.

Just steps from the lifts with ski-in access to Utah's best powder.

Amenities include a private outdoor hot tub; gourmet kitchen; cathedral ceilings; magnificent mountain views; wood and gas fireplaces; high quality pool table, foosball table, air hockey table; access to Club Solitude (heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, gym, sauna, games); two-car garage; fast wifi.

Six bedrooms sleep up to 12 people, making it perfect for a multi-family vacation

The main level comprises a large living area with a wood-burning fireplace (wood provided), cathedral ceilings and wall-wall views of the ski slopes and mountain, as well as a gourmet kitchen with adjoining dining room and balcony / verandah area. On this level you will also find one of the two king master bedrooms, with a gas fireplace, ensuite with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and walk-in dressing room. The master bedroom on this level also provides direct access to a private outdoor hot tub.

The upper level has a relaxation / games area with a pool table and foosball table, as well as 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This includes the second of the two king master bedrooms, again with a gas fireplace, ensuite with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and walk-in dressing room. There is also a queen bedroom with an additional bunk bed and ensuite bathroom; a twin bedroom; and a loft with two extra-long twin single side-by-side bunk beds. There is also a third bathroom on this level.

The lower level offers ski-in access to the large ski room, and a spacious two-car garage for guest use. This level also contains a bedroom / games room with a high quality air hockey table; a modern, comfortable pull-out queen sleeper couch; and a separate bathroom / laundry equipped with a shower, toilet, washer and dryer.

Solitude getaway

This was an excellent place to stay! Location was really convenient - close to Apex lift. The accommodations were more than we needed, and were very appreciated. Definitely would come again!

We had a wonderful time here! It was a gorgeous property, a perfect space for our family with young adults. The location couldn’t be better, just steps to Solitude resort. It is also walking distance to a general store, multiple restaurants, and Solitude spa. The owner is quick to respond, and very kind. He made our stay wonderful, and provided clear instructions and information.

Solitude Trip

Incredible place steps from the lift

Wonderful place we want to come back to. Great for big group of friends or family. Solitude is incredible and this has to be one of the best rentals at the base.

The home is perfect for a family gathering. Great location and all the amenities a group could ask for. The house is outfitted with everything for a large group. Additionally, the whole process from reservation to check out was seemless.

The best!

This was our second stay at Simon’s beautiful home and this year was even better than the last. The home is stunning, well kept and the host and house manager are incredibly responsive. The location can’t be beat with easy walk and ski access to the mountain and town. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this home to anyone looking to visit the area!!

Amazing House!

Wonderful house for a ski trip. Very spacious and clean. Amenities such as the hot tub, pool table, and other games are an added bonus. And you can’t beat the convenience to Solitude resort, shops, and restaurant. Highly recommend!

Friend Gathering

The home was immaculate and hosted our 8 friends with so much comfort. The rooms were spacious and the mud room was setup very well to keep the snow and mud downstairs. Simon was a fantastic host and we would definitely stay here again!

Annual ski trip out west

Our group usually rents individually at solitude but this year we decided to rent something together. We are 5 adults w 5 teens the condo is perfect! Location is so close to the village, literally ski in and ski out of there is enough snow— and this year there was! Living / kitchen space was huge and sat 10 for dinner comfortably. Ski drop/ boot room with the boot dryer was amazing and kept all the clutter away for the main house! Would love to rent again when we return!!!!

Best spot in Solitude

Overall I would have to say this is the best place to stay in Solitude if you have a large group, as there is very little availability for 4 bedrooms. Like almost none. Which means they can charge a very high rate. Don't blame them, basic supply and demand. Look forward to seeing some more newer units in this row of townhomes come online to help drive prices to a more reasonable and competitive level. But I would stay here again for our company group as you can't beat the amount of bedrooms and location!

Great 3-Family Vacation Location!

3 families stayed together in this beautiful and well-equipped property. The location was around the corner from Solitude Village and could not be more convenient. We had a mix of novice and intermediate skiers, so we opted to drive the 5 minutes (so close!) to ski at Brighton and thoroughly enjoyed the mountain. The property had plenty of room for all 3 families and we loved cooking and eating together each night to debrief our day. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stunning Solitude Property

Group of 8 family & friends spent the week in Simon's beautiful Silver Aspan townhome at Solitude. Every detail was perfect - immaculate, spacious layout with plenty of room for dining, sleeping, and relaxing in 3 separate den / billiards areas. Upon entry, the spacious ski room with individual cubbies & hooks, boot warmers, and benches was a plus. Gourmet kitchen included All Clad & La Creuset cookware; nice tableware, flatware, and drinkware; large Sub-Zero refrigerator; Wolf 6 burner gas stove with double oven; and very quiet Bosch dishwasher. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and bedding all very good. Host Simon was attentive, professional, and super helpful. Smooth check in and stay thanks to the host's detailed instructions. I highly recommend this VRBO property and host. I'm quite picky and must say this is the nicest of many luxury VRBO properties I've rented.

Awesome Spring Break Trip!!

We come to solitude with our family every year and have always rented 2 condos for our family and our cousins (3 adults, 5 teenage boys). This year we all stayed together and this space was perfect! Cozy enough to all be together with enough space to get away from each other. We had a great trip and will definitely stay here again if it’s available.

Excellent Solitude/Brighton Ski and Boarding Trip

Great father / son ski and boarding trip (4 dads, 5 boys). Stayed at a beautiful town home that was walking distance to the quaint Solitude village and lifts. Also great access to a Brighton shuttle bus. Simon, the host, was great to work with and very helpful. Town home was well equipped ... we will be coming back. Thank you Simon!

All-around Amazing

I can’t say enough good things about this property and our stay. It was everything we wanted/needed/could have imagined. The place is comfortable, huge yet cozy. We are picky when it comes to kitchens and cook ware; we cooked all our meals for seven people during our 5 day stay and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms are big and all the beds are comfortable and have nice thick duvets. The living room has a lovely fireplace which we used every evening. An added bonus is the large mud room which can hold and dry all your ski gear. The property is just steps away from the ski slopes and the APEX lift, and just as close to the ski rental place. Lastly, Simon (the host) could not be more accommodating, kind and professional. He made sure we were all stocked up with firewood, had the outdoor hot tub refilled (the water had somewhat evaporated), and he made sure we had the latest local information when it looked like we might get snowed in before our departure (we made it out just in time). We would absolutely come back and would recommend this place to anyone interested in great skiing and rejuvenating comfort.
