A stone’s throw from the Hudson valley wine trail and state parks, this modern A Frame is set on a 5 acre former horse farm, providing privacy without seclusion. 2 hrs from NYC, it’s perfect for weekend trips, holidays, and longer remote work getaways.

An ideal day here can include a morning coffee on the wraparound deck, working remotely with an amazing pastoral view, and ending the night by roasting marshmallows under the stars and unwinding in the clawfoot tub

Outside - enjoy some country life with horse stables, lawn games, a grill, fire pit, and plenty of space to run around. The giant wraparound deck is perfect for coffee in the morning and yoga at sunset.

Inside, an open, sundrenched living area provides a cozy and spacious environment for relaxing, cooking, and enjoying the view as deer graze across the field. Smart TV with Hulu/Netflix included + vibey electric heater provide extra warmth and entertainment to gather around by night.

The basement provides entertainment for all ages - equipped with a wall sized projector, ping pong table, and vintage arcade games. It also includes a private bedroom with private bathroom/shower.

The master suite occupies the entire loft, creating a sense of privacy and luxury with French doors that lead to a queen bed, beautiful clawfoot bathtub and private terrace.

Plenty of work desks and spaces to accommodate remote workers with new fast wifi! (as of Sept 2025)

FULLY STOCKED with clean linens/towels, kitchen essentials, firewood, and laundry room. Just bring food, drinks and friends!

It was a smooth communication with the host started from the beginning. We love the space and chose it to host a memorial of a family member that just passed. The house is in a great design for gathering. The backyard and porch are in a perfect looking out to the green space/ woods. Morning and afternoon lights were perfectly aligned.

Peaceful stay

We enjoyed a calm weekend near wine country. The house was comfy and had what we needed for a simple vacation. Luckily the weather cooperated and we were comfortable with open windows and fans on. It may have been a bit stuffy if we were there later in the spring or in the summer. I’m sure it’s a cozy spot in the winter too!!

It was pretty good. Nice open space. A little dark indoors at nighttime and a few things were a little unclean (pots, dishes, utensils), and there were quite a bit of ladybugs upstairs in the master bedroom, but we kind of just dealt with it. The homeowner gave us some direction on how to clean the ladybugs up with a vacuum cleaner and on how to deal with the well water smell. Overall, it was good.

Large, open spaces and huge windows. It had snowed, so the porch was icy. However, my daughter and I easily found the shovels and cleared the porch and steps before the grandkids arrived.The only downside was that the previous tenants had broken the pellet stove.I would stay there again.

Beautiful pocket of Peace

We felt welcome seeing that the owner left us chocolates and more detailed instructions about the house, very easy to check in and check out, it is to be expected that wifi was acting funny but the owner has left more ways to connect to the Internet. Very cozy house with nice open living space

I enjoyed my 60th birthday celebration very much at this home with my adult children. Hiking in the Gunks was a perfect way to spend the weekend! Nick is a great host, very responsive.

Beautiful Property

My fiancé and I, along with some family stayed at this beautiful property for our Wedding in Montgomery, which was about 20 minutes away from our wedding venue. Our wedding photographer took stunning pictures using the barn as our backdrop. Overall a wonderful place to stay with family or friends. Spacious throughout and very clean. The entertainment room was a great addition for families with children of all ages.

Very nice quiet area, lots of room in the house to make all of us 8 adults feel comfortable, like plenty of room on the outside deck… There are minor things that could be addressed, which I’m sure they are well aware. I would recommend for a group that just wants to get away and relax.

Amazing overall experience

We were originally just looking for a house that was close to angry orchard for a quick couples trip. But after being there for a couple of hours we realized that this home was going to be the bright spot for the weekend. We ended up enjoying the outdoors for the first night and only ended up staying at the orchard for a couple hours and just wanted to get back to the hours and enjoy the outdoors. I highly recommend this home to any family or group of friends looking for an amazing home for the weekend. I hope to be back here next year and the home was the bright spot of our weekend.

Fun little getaway

The house was cute and clean; perfect for a group of 8 women (although would be a great get away for families)! The deck and fire pit were a hit, the yard (or should I say farm) was beautiful. The house was tucked away a bit so it was quiet, but close enough for us to easily access all the wineries we went to. Nick was prompt in his responses and eager to help! Thanks for a fun weekend away and for letting us book an additional night!

We've always loved coming to New Paltz and Beacon for the last 15 years, so when we were ready to leave the city and buy our first house, we saw this one and instantly fell in love.

It's a truly special place and we're so grateful that we've been able to host others for their special days - whether it's hosting holidays, weddings, engagements, family reunions, bachelor/ette parties, hiking trips, or just a weekend away from the city.

What makes this property unique

All of the natural light, the pastoral views, and the privacy the property provides while still only being 5 minutes from town makes this place super unique. Truly a great place to be throughout all 4 seasons
