About this property
View of Downtown Houston blocks from midtown, MM ballpark & Toyota Center
Jaw dropping view of downtown from a private balcony. Modern, eclectic one bedroom apartment in downtown that's close to everything and right next to rail. A 20 minute walk to Minute Maid Park and a 10 minute walk to Toyota Center. Easy commute to the medical center. Just because you're visiting the med center doesn't mean you have to stay there. Unless you enjoy the sound of ambulances. It's a 15 minute train ride or 10 minute Uber which could cost the same as parking at the med center and less of a pain in the ass. It's a seven block walk to midtown and a $7 Uber to Montrose, a 5-minute train ride to the Theater District. All the universe within a 10-minute bubble. Private location in property with no downstairs neighbors and bedroom has no shared walls. There is gated garage parking with plenty of visitor parking within the garage. If there should be a rare malfunction of the gates there is plenty of monitored street parking that is close to the unit. The

Property was exactly as pictured with high end finishes. Couch was comfy, TV great and we could cool and heat the place to our liking. It's in a quiet, secure building and they had Starbucks coffee & cocoa available on the main floor. Nice! Our host met us personally - very nice guy and even left us pizza's for our first night (it was a Sunday and most things around the area were closed). It was great for our visit to a quilt show at the GBR Convention center. Metro runs right outside the complex which is convenient, but it takes a couple of nights to get used to. Would definitely stay here again!
I had a great experience with the property and the owner, I had everything I needed in a great location. I would definitely stay here again!

Jeffrey was an excellent guest. Friendly, easy to communicate with, and left the place absolutely spotless. They even did the laundry. I highly recommend Jeffrey to all hosts.
The host was super friendly and helpful, the place was clean and very accommodating for our stay. I would recommend anyone to stay, it is close by good eats and fun activities. I would 100% come back again!
This cute apartment is right downtown Houston close to Minute Maid Park, the Toyota Center and various Houston restaurants. It is a short ride (car or Metro) to NRG Stadium, the museums, Rice University and multiple medical centers serving Houston.
The host was very nice and the apartment was clean and comfortable. If you are planning to cook and eat gourmet meals, you will find a limited supply of cookware. Snacks or simple meals such as scrambled eggs or a pasta dish would work.
The apartment is across from a game room that has a pool table and arcade golf game. The pool is right around the corner as well. The metro line runs up and down Main Street and there is a stop in front of the building. While this is incredibly convenient, it does come with a cost... You may hear the train if you are a light sleeper. I heard it during the first night of our stay... It reminded me of hearing the SanFrancisco Cable Cars. I slept like a baby the next two nights.
Overall, we were very pleased with the apartment.

I'm so sorry that a lack of communication on my part had a negative effect on your trip. I should have remembered to communicate what to do if something goes wrong since property gates do malfunction at times. Out of 172 stays, this was the 2nd time the code malfunctioned. Moving forward I now tell all guests that in the rare event the gate doesn't open when the code is entered that they should still enter the garage when the gate opens for other guests. Guests are allowed to follow other guests entering the property through one of the three entrance gates which are located side by side. The parking garage has over 500 parking spaces, and guests come and go at all times. The approximate wait time is 60 to 90 seconds - two to four minutes between 3am and 6am.
I also now tell all guests about the free parking around the perimeter of the building located under the parking signs. This parking is monitored and actually closer to the unit. If guests are walking, to avoid the heat, the electronic key to the apartment opens all the walk in exterior doors. There is one next to the garage door entrances and two on each side of the property.
While showing you the amenities ( Starbucks coffee bar, gym, museum, lounge area, computer room and business center) I emphasised the main entrance as the Uber and food delivery pick up point and neglected to mention it will still work as an entrance even if there isn't an Uber or food delivery.
I also apologize for neglecting to tell you which bathroom cabinet I keep the shampoo, lotion and body wash.. While cleaning, I clear all surfaces, disinfect the outside of each bottle and store it in the hanging cabinet.
It was incredibly rude of me to leave extra bedsheets unfolded on top of the dryer not thinking someone could pass by, open the laundry closet door and assume the clean sheets were actually dirty laundry. Please show some mercy as I appear to have a genetic defect rendering me incapable of folding a fitted bedsheet, so I just left them on the dyer.
I enjoyed meeting you both and enjoyed chatting while helping you unload the merchandise from your vehicle and moving it into the apartment. I appreciate y'all leaving my place so clean and being so respectful. Again if you have any questions you have my number. I live 5 blocks from where you were staying and I'm usually always available.
